Phil might not be a looker, but Kat isn't shallow. She likes Phil for his other wonderful qualities.
He's a great dad even though he doesn't want kids. He knows exactly how other people should raise their children. Just pimp slap them and send them outside until they are adults.
He's an empathetic listener. When Kat has a bad day at work she knows she can talk to Phil and not only does he understand, he will explain how his day of taking a dump and playing video games was equally as hard.
He's emotionally supportive. On Halloween when Kat had a break down and ran out of the house, Phil immediately took action an hour later, told people to stop bullying, and continued to play video games all day.
Phil has a bright future. Despite cyber terrorists, mentally ill nudniks, big black bullies and his egg gangsters trying to take him down, Phil doesn't quit. He will play video games while begging for money indefinitely. He's not going anywhere folks.
Phil is very sentimental. Even though his Connecticut condo costs him thousands of dollars a year to sit empty, Phil keeps it because it holds a special place in his heart.
