I hope something juicy drops Friday to carry us through the weekend, I know people are speculating papers / restraining order or something similar. Having twitter idiots be dunked on with papers would be embarrassingly funny, i don't know if it is embarrassing enough. I would like something on the level of Sabat being #metoo'd right before a massive convention.

I am really wondering how much more Toei is gonna hold back from pulling the ip from funi. Toei is autistic when it comes to their ips, a recent ex would be Evo japan. They were pulling away the game from big fgc tournaments where they were only making positive publicity.

Yesterday Shane called out kickvic for threatening CPS after screaming about Skye's kids. Then he assumed Monica/Soye wouldn't support making money off "victims", when we know they did (if it's on their side). I wonder if even Shane is starting to see what lying hypocrites these people are. It would be hilarious if he were the first to flip sides because kickvic are too unethical for him.

No this is the broken stair list, it was a list where anyone could submit anyone who they considered a convention creeper to it to name and shame. The person running it was called “Moderator” and a few people tried to track her down. Here’s what we have:
-she likely lives in Midtown Manhattan.
-she said she had lived in NYC her entire life
-she wore a fur coat to a meeting at a specialty bookstore with a journalist from Kotaku
-she has moved the server hosting for the Broken Stair website multiple times to avoid detection, probably buying different hosting space each time
-she claims to have cosplayed before
-any attempt to find her has hit brick walls, the people looking into her suspect that resources are being deployed to protect her

Here is the working theory:
-Moderator is likely the NEET black sheep of a wealthy NYC family, maybe 3rd generation+. Someone with resources started trying to protect her after this blew up9
-She likely commissioned her cosplays, a possible way to track her
-she likely does not have a major social media presence, but she likely has one or two friends who are. She also likely has a relatively small friend group, one or two close ones.
-the coat belongs to a relative, probably at least a grandma given that fur fell out of fashion in NYC at least 50-40 years ago. Used as an impromptu disguise for the meeting.

I mean, that's a possibility. But that means a judge would have to grant some sort of gag-order on behalf of one of the parties. And the other party would request the same. I doubt Ty would request this when the light of day is so valuable to his client. If defendants try to silence Vic (whom isn't even saying anything about lawsuits), Ty will likely try and silence them in return. And, as we know, #KickVic refuses to shut their mouths. :optimistic: at best.

Actually no, it wasn't really going alongside it. The incident of fighterz happened months ago. And evo japan was toei's last tourney from my knowledge which they pulled out from. Since then its been fine.
 
it always amazes me, these people. they call us nothing but they don't realize the inevitable truth in the end.

everyone doesn't matter. literally every human could die right now, and the world wouldn't give a single salty shit beyond "oh snack time" unless the method of death effected animals. sure some species would die off because of the lack of our presence, but they weren't long for the world in the first place. ultimately, they are as meaningless as you or me and they simply refuse to believe it.

There's also the fact that Ron et al literally cannot stop themselves from spewing material of interest to the lawsuit. Why stop him or other people, when they're literally proving-- on a daily basis even!-- all of the salient points that have been raised?

Alongside it in the sense that the effects of the decisions months prior were still echoing back.

Two lines, no waiting: People remained salty about it for a long time after, and then the Core Values livestream made it a fresh reminder to the people already dealing with it, as well as exposing the normies to the news on Twitter as an echo effect as the public learned more about it from the FGC members who laid it out in detail.

This whole thing reminds me of Diane Downs minus the child killer thing. She couldn't keep her mouth shut during the investigation and it eventually did her in.

Some of these people mouthing off in the middle of a fucking LAWSUIT really says something doesn't it?
