I know this forum strongly discourages poo-touching and all of that, but this episode I found to be fascinating as it wasn't just the usual ranting into the void or instathot garbage. Like this is how he acts if he actually gets his way. Particularly interesting was how quickly he thought he was going to get to have sex with KP, like yup my talents and efforts finally got recognized, gonna bang Katy Perry! Completely delusional.

It apparently never occurred to him that he could type up some written notes beforehand, then use them for the interview to keep details straight. But obviously it can't be that important if he never persisted in his efforts past the initial minor problem.

I'm sure that when you are a handicapped kid, demanding support from others and getting it is actually completely normal, especially when you are growing up in a community of nice religious people. But some combination of narcissism, low intelligence, and possible autism have kept Russel from realizing that the same isn't true when you are 1) an adult, 2) dislikable, 3) now interacting in a heterogenous big city setting, and 4) asking for something insane. This sort of hangover of juvenile or even infantile coping mechanisms as an adult is very Phil (ADF)-ish, actually.

Asking questions like this is pointless because they imply that gourdhead has any self-awareness or desire to not seem hypocritical. He’d shoot her down and not see the irony in a thousand years. Because he’s Russell and the rules don’t apply to him.
