Truth be told, up until this whole drama I had no fucking clue who Vic Minion-a is. I only really saw the new Brook movie, and that’s it, my exposure to Dragon Ball remained in the form of some choice select Super episodes and DBZA.
When I first heard of all this drama, I was somewhat neutral on the topic. People who abuse their position and popularity to prey upon unsuspecting people, let alone kids and teens, are scum and should be treated with ire, gassing and banishment to Hollywood. However, you can’t just right away trust heinous accusations of such a level. If you do that, if you trust that someone is a rapist without any evidence, you let this accusation become a powerful weapon that can be used freely, since consequences are at times minimal for the user.
And then I started seeing fun things, Shane. I saw a person on the group that reviewed Vic’s actions fake a SWATting attempt. I saw people like Monica Rial attacking her own fans who asked for proof. I saw #kickvic people turning every photo they could into OH HE HUG-RAPED THEM. I saw a certain YouTube channel edit a video into looking like Vic’s being creepy, and when the original surfaced, they deleted fucking everything. I saw a complete lack of actual evidence and not people saying they know victims.
I saw you, Shane, assuring everyone that you’re a friend to Vic, that you want the best for him. That’s why you want him to admit to crimes he haven’t committed unless proven so and to atone, and to apologize, and to disappear.
See, if we actually saw evidence that Vic Bologna is even one percent the creep your side portrays him as, chances are, you’d have some evil kiwifarms doxers on your side. And if he was actually the man you portray him as, the amount of support he’d have here would probably be minimal and the support would probably be firmly contained within edgelord posts and posts from accounts registered three hours ago.
Instead, all we see is a group of absolutely insane people dancing on the railway with EarPods in their listening holes, and no matter how much we’ll scream for them to get out of the way, they won’t notice the big fucking train until it is too late.

There's not really any precedent for the sheer volume of discovery that's been fed to counsel in preparation for this case. Discovery like that usually costs a LOT of money, a lot of man hours. The crowd sourced gigs of info that's been put in the hands of BHBH is unlike anything they've ever seen.

Just in case anyone actually IS this stupid: Yes, you are responsible for things you say or do online. Especially if you expect to show up to court with clean hands.

In fact, had the people involved NOT taken to twitter, it would have been very hard to figure out who did what, and there wouldn't be a million eyes on it.

In other words: "They'd have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling tweets!"

I mean, testimony is evidence, right, by your deduction? So, them admitting to conspiracy and malice on the Internet is admissible, right?

Also, Ty said he was keeping a thorough record of tortious interference with these people. Otherwise, these lawsuits would be out faster. So, it isn’t just “tweets”. In fact, this whole thing started with “tweets” and Internet shit.

To win a civil conspiracy you have to prove one exists. That doesn't mean taking some random person and saying they were involved. Much like if he were to say you were involved, or me. Neither of us were, and there is no documentation of us being involved in that Funi ordeal because we were not. The Monica and Jamie thing is sort of the same thing. It is people taking and trying to figure out an entire case based off just 1 year when the whole thing started way before that and the people who he thinks were ringleaders were not really involved at all.
