To be fair to Toei that's only in America and can be basically blamed on DiC who had licensed it originally. The show got cancelled during it's original tv syndication in America and it wouldn't be till Toonami started airing reruns years later that it got notoriety in America. Toei had no problem licensing it out to other countries during that time like for Italy.

That was only for EVO Japan which is an offshoot of the original EVO tournament in Vegas where FighterZ was prominently featured. EVO Japan has been notoriously incompetently run so I also give Toei a little leeway.

The assumption is Toei is aware what's been going on with Vic, and since he's their choice, Toei is not going to be holding back anymore. They pulled rank on Sabat over his tour, he got pissy and cancelled, and either him or KC held off till last minute. Meanwhile, again assumption, Papa Toei told Ryo to BTFO from KC.

I edited the OP to reflect the existence of other threads that people can use to post the latest hot takes from Soye, Holmberg and others. Hopefully this will slow this thread down a bit so new information doesn't get lost or overlooked.

Ahhh. So more extortion. Its still shocking too me how patronizing these people are. If "the fans" don't want someone to show up, they won't go to their booth and buy their shit. Which means the Con will have to pay out the guaranteed minimum, costing them money and insuring that person won't be invited back again. Everything I have seen about these conventions is that they are a pure expression of the market determining what is popular rather then some self absorbed moral busy bodies sniffing their own farts.

I don't think so.
Haberkorn Gaiden may end quicker than the Vic Mignogna arc since there are presumably fewer people involved (I can only think of Jessie Pridemore, Adam Sheehan, and maybe Monica Rial).
