I like Nolan but specially Troy. Troy's Pain speech in naruto still motherfucking gives me goosebumps. The moment he says the line "You and I" https://youtu.be/cv1f5k43cio (must watch) gives me goosebumps. The emphasis on "You and I" with that slow, deep and sad tone is just too good. One of the rare occasions for me where i prefer the dub over sub.

Also just watch this comparison of Japanese all might vs sabat in my hero academia. Makes sabat look like an absolute pathetic talentless maggot. Look at the Japanese VA's live perf on a tv show https://youtu.be/ihuBDJc3GH4 now compare this shit to sabat's highly edited scene https://youtu.be/KGpPa_OMZ6w?t=158. The japanese va takes a huge load of dump onto sabat and does it live naturally.

That's actually why I prefer subs over dubs, simply because Japanese VAs are more talented. Whenever there are huge action scenes, English Dubs tend to add this weird echo effect, it's all very heavily edited in an attempt to make it sound more epic. Sub? None of that shit. At all. All natural, baby, that's the way it was meant to be.

Guaranteed there are some con-goers who might've driven the distance to get something signed at the comic store, but with how it's been downpouring all day, they changed their mind. All the actors attending the Yugioh tournament are locals. If you live in Texas, you can get their autograph at some other event. If you traveled to Kamehacon from out of state you're probably not going to skip the main convention to visit some tiny comic book store.
