Anyways, I'm not surprised Funimation pulled Vic's Q&A from the Broly Blu-Ray. Very petty.

Hmm.

So questions regarding the suit-to-be.

Since it's going to be filed in State, there won't be PACER. Will there be something similar, like a state suit database? Also, does it being filed in state have any significance in suing, say, the canucks of ANN or Californias like Marzgurl?

We don't have 100% confirmation of that yet, but it appears to be Rial, Soye, Marchi, and Funimation for R1. Ty said there are four defendants.
Those 4 make the most sense, MoRon keep flapping their gums to this day, Marchi was overly malicious about it everything was going in their favour and Funi ousted him based on a bogus internal investigation + their tweets about harassment AND they're still actively trying to unperson Vic by removing him from various credits and bonus features.

The only other possible targets would be Sabat and RT, but if we're still operating on the Sabat = Iago we know he's not getting hit yet and RT might have acted on bad info given to them by Funi/VAs.

Yes. Although he didn't say what county. There's 254 counties in Texas. It's gonna be one in the East though.

The issue here was that we all thought Vic was in California (not just AnOminous, I'll cop to it to as well). Apparently, he moved back right before this shit happened. I'm not sure they CAN file in federal court for the R1 defendants. They're gonna be relying heavily on Texas state law when it comes to the TI stuff, and everybody is in Texas.

It hasn't dropped yet. Nick told me on his Discord WHERE it will drop. He explicitly gave me permission to share this on the Farm's.

It goes by County in Texas and they aren’t linked or centralized. It will go up on whatever site the given jurisdiction uses. So the fastest it will be found is probably Nick asking Ty what jurisdiction he filed it under. But nobody will see anything until the court publishes it first. Ty can’t just give a copy to Nick until the court publishes, because that can fuck up the defamation cases.

I doubt we see RT in this round. I think the Amazons need other dominoes to fall before they have a case against them, since they just fired him and went radio silent; falling under 'At Will' employment protection

Don't forget that Igor is also not in Round 1, either.

So, Round 2 could consist of a number of targets:

Rooster Teeth
Anime News Network (Lynzee Loveridge and perhaps other members of the staff)
Chris Sabat
Igor (whoever this is)
MarzGurl (she should not be overlooked. She has ties with ANN, i09 via Beth Elderkin, and friendships with Funimation VAs)
Sean Schemmel
Jessie Pridemore
Samantha Inoue-Hart (Maybe)
Iago (Very slim chance unless something comes out that can nail him to the wall)
Perhaps people in the periphery as well.

Why? The Waid thing is only in Federal Court because it requires diversity Jurisdiction since Waid is in California. It is being argued under Texas Law and procedures. That is what Waid is currently arguing against. In these around 1 filings all parties are within Texas and all law involved is Texas Law. There is no Federal Question or interest. It is all straight up Texas cases.

you really think dragging funi into discovery won't bring something regarding iago? a reminder: you can't permenantly delete data without extremely specific methods. just right click-deleting doesn't do it.

i dunno, i just thought most of the reasons why waid was screwed revolved around texas state law, which doesn't change because you go to a different level of court

Am I speaking fucking English here?

God damn it. They're so bent out of shape about the sub-forum not being compartmentalized to their taste, they don't even fucking READ properly. Fucking stop being an exceptional individual @JosephTX. Jesus. And now they're offline and can't fix their bullshit.

That's being done that way because there is jurisdictional diversity among the parties. That's not the case in R1 of Vic.

Well yes. That is why Waid is desperately trying to Hail Mary a jurisdictional challenge (that backfired on him spectacularly). But there really was no chance of that in this case. At least for the obvious easy targets. Everything involved was Texas. The only ones outside Texas that might get more involved are ANN, Marzgurl, and a few of the pointless penniless costhots.

If he moved before all this happened, it's 100% coincidental.

OR IS IT?

I mean, all this bullshit started up as soon as Vic moved to Texas, prior to this nada, nothing, no shitty metoo movement, or trying to kill his career.

I wonder if it's a big pond small fish mentality from Rial, Sabat et al.

Vic's a huge fish in star power terms, we've seen that obviously from the major success of Kamehacon.

What if they didn't like this whale (monetary term, not Vic's weight, eat more steaks for a bit please dude, you've lost too much from all this shit) coming into their waters well and decided now was the time to get rid of him more permanently?

So what county is Funimation's HQ in?

We have Soye and Rial's dox. What county are they in?

I think we even have Vic's dox. What county is he in?

Doesn't it have to be one of those?

Yeah, that nigga is a little too quick on the draw. But unless they trip over even more info in the final hour, I guess we'll probably see something before the week is out. I feel sorry for the twitter feeds of whoever get nailed in R1. Well I would if they weren't pieces of shit
