Here's my question: What is it gonna take for these idiots to finally realize that A) This is really happening and WILL have real consequences and B) them commenting like they have been will only make things worse?

Many of them never will. Consider what happens when a true believer is faced with a reality that will destroy literally everything they believe in to the point of religious fanaticism. Every fiber of their being is based on and wrapped up in twitter 'facts' and SJW/Woke/SJW teachings. All their lives from grade school to current day, their teachers/professors/TV/Newspapers/Facebook/Tumblr/Twitter and their various other bubbles have developed their own reality.

They rejected actual reality and substituted their own. for real. So what are the odds they suddenly give that up?

Does anyone have a link to the video of the asian girl interviewing vic? The one where's she's trying to show how he's being a creep to her but it turned out she edited out all of the parts where vic did the same thing to her male friend.

Yeah, okay.

So they don't get to bring any witnesses, correct? And that's because it's a civil case or is there a different reason.

I'm just now starting to really follow this so sorry for having to ask.

If they're sued over their statements, they will be asked to provide proof for the claims that are regarded as defamatory, so in fact they are being asked by Vic's lawyers to identify witnesses. If they legitimately know someone who has accused Vic of assault or some other inappropriate conduct, they'll be asked to name that person. Assuming that they in fact do so, that person can be brought to testify to the veracity of such claims.

The general consensus is that no such individuals actually exist or if they did manage to get someone to come in to provide sworn testimony it would be worthless in pinning any crime on Vic. The defense would of course bear the costs of any witnesses they choose to depose, which really sucks for someone like Soye who needs to haul 100 women into court.

I meant more like the defendants can't directly call witnesses to the stand in an attempt to hurt Vic's case.

Some serious hot takes and claims to know what he is like in the "green room" behind the scenes. Could be Sabat. No way to know for sure but can someone screenshot and archive? I am on my phone atm. Fml.

So why are we pretending that Sony's hands are clean if they're the ones that fired him? I just dont get it?

Okay, once more... with feeling... and please pay attention.

Vic doesn't have a cause of action for being FIRED. Funimation and/or Sony would be legally within their right to do that, providing it agrees with the terms of his contract (which is probably written in a way that chiefly benefits the employer). This is one of the rare things KickVic is right about (although they massively misunderstand the case... read on).

They could have privately gone up to Vic and said "Vic, we don't want to work with you anymore, Bye." He'd have no recourse as long as his contract allowed for that.

He has a cause of action against Funimation because they sent out a Tweet saying that he was fired as a result of a an investigation, with an implication that that investigation uncovered criminal malfeasance and/or other really bad shit that is career damaging.

This is NOT a wrongful termination case. This is a defamation and TI case.

He can't sue just for being canned. At most, that's all Sony did. And we're not even 100% sure on who had final say. The mere fact he was terminated DOESN'T MATTER. The fuckup was on how Funimation and the inmates in their mental asylum publicly handled this.

Get it?

Well, as far as I recall it, CanvasPirate is very skeptical of KickVic's accusations towards Vic and challenged them on regular bases in the past weeks. I believe Monica has even blocked him on Twitter (see for example https://twitter.com/RonToye/status/1091754780823834624 )
That said, I strongly assume the cited Tweet was meant sarcastically . We shoudn't let our own prejudices lead to fast and false assumptions. That's the job from the KickVic people.

I love every time these people run their mouths then within minutes go on full lock down and protect their accounts. If you can't stand by your statements and have to retreat into your safe space then you shouldn't make a statement at all.
They just want to virtue signal, it wasn't supposed to have yucky things like consequences! Why isn't everyone clapping and calling xer brave?! (:_(
