Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Somebody refresh my memory on something real quick: How did Vic hook up with Nick? (I hadn't originally intended this to rhyme, but what the hell.)

Nick heard about this from... I believe... the Anime Outsider people, and then Nick contacted Vic to see if he wanted to come on his show. That was their first contact.

It went from there.

It would take an insane amount of content to overtake the TDS thread. No way we are going to overtake the DSP thread though.

The Mueller report hubbub means that the apparent closeness in page numbers right now is deceptive, but I think once that dies down and the lawsuit is in full swing it's possible this could pass TDS. Unlikely it'll ever stay 'won' though, since lawsuits have slow periods and definite end points. People who whine about presidents never stop, even after it's been a full generation since that president was in office.

Yes. Sometime after Vic and Nick initially talked.

He wants to be VERY clear he DID NOT give Vic legal advice at any time. He did refer Vic to Ty at some point though. A referral is within the bounds of professional ethics.

It's not just within the bounds of professional ethics, it's routine for doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc to refer people to colleagues who are more able to help them with a particular issue.

I like how this part is the current "grasping at straws" ahtick with marzgurl and her ilk saying it ahould have been made clear at the start, ANY LITTLE THING TO FUCK HIM OVER! And its all falling through.

He might have already had some of that stuff from Em or elsewhere. He posted this an hour ago. LOL.

KEK7go got him caps of everything from PULL. So we should be good.

Anyways, everybody have fun laughing at the idiots with Nick tonight. See you in the stream thread.

She got something else wrong too.

The initial investigation was from 2018, not 2017.

Jesus Christ, MarzGurl.

Oh, nooo, don’t do that. We like Ty’s associates and interns. Don’t force them to read about Jake Alley. That’s what we refer to as cruel and unusual. Just knowing of the existence of SecretGamerGirl is one step closer to madness.
It's only a fantasy, but to see a bunch of spotlights exposing Jake for the fraud he is would be hilarious.
Imagine the reality where Elon Musk bankrolls slow and steady lawfare against I’d wager a quarter to a third of all people of interest we have under watch, having them all fucked in court into even further poverty and misery over stupid remarks about evil Nazi rapist Vic Bologna.
A dawn of a whole new age where Lolcow & Lolcow LLC bloats and erupts into a massive hundred-page masterpiece you just can’t keep up with and where every single favourite cow of yours is about to get evicted from their mother’s basement.
All because a man one day ate a jelly bean.

I am fully aware that this reality is about as likely as Donald Trump winning the presidency from the perspective of someone in the year 2000, but hey, let me dream.

Hmmm? Interesting. A few of the “non nerd” political/social/cultural commentators are starting to pick up on the lawsuit.

I can only assume that the left wing yellow press will soon begin a “burn the white male” campaign of life ending defamation as usual?

It's not hard for a YouTuber to get behind the idea that all it takes is one person flagging them for wrong thought to completely ruin their life and livelihood. Vic's situation is real to them and staring them in the face everyday regardless of their race, creed, or orientation. THEY get it and, if they knew him, they'd stand shoulder to shoulder with Doug Tennapel and Nick and anyone else they know would signal boost them if they got screwed Hero Hei for a day or like the unpersonning of Vic regardless of what they think of them as people.

We don't but that's not stopping the idea of a connection spreading on social media. SGG is usually lucky to get 5 RTs and 10 likes. That he's got 50 RTs and 150 likes indicates SJWs really want to believe this.

Maybe so.....maybe so....because every day Twitter makes me believe eugenics wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Imagine if Musk actually does do something because of these exceptional tards.
I will die laughing because these KickVic tards started an unnecessary fight.
I'm laughing now over the idea of Elon Musk, of all people, saves anime.
"SpaceX? Not now, I need to save anime for all mankind."
If this happens, IF THIS HAPPENS, the Weeb Wars will have transcended into an area we thought (and, quite frankly, dreaded) would not occur.
I hope one of these tards mouths off to Elon about oh I dunno...submarines or Southeast Asian countries. That would probably push him over the edge and make him donate to Vic's legal fund.

Tell that to morons like MarzGurl. Who think there's some evil scheme here (or would love there to be).

The point is, at no point did he tell Vic he SHOULD sue, and he's getting nothing out of this from Vic or Ty. It's more along the lines of he heard out Vic's story, as part of an attempt to get Vic to come on his show, and at some point thereafter (I don't know how soon after) he introduced Vic to Ty.

If he gave legal advice, or accepted a kickback, there might be an ethical issue here. But that's not what happened. He was even careful to not say Vic's lawfim until Vic freely entered into an attorney-client relationship and got permission (which initially made it seem like Nick had just been made aware of the existence of BHBH).

Nick will be not happy if I don't make this clear. If you haven't noticed, he's super serious about his professional reputation.

In the end, they're just really fucking pissed that Nick made a referral that ended in the person he referred filing a lawsuit, and that Nick is laughing at all of them for their stupidity.

Present it the right way, and the idea that their lives could be instantly destroyed by a screeching mob of hate-filled dangerhaired cunts for literally nothing is horrifying to most people. Most people are not, ultimately, going to side with SJW insanity.
