Hi. Is someone able to illuminate for me what the big secret was behind Phil's super-serious problem that he was cryptic in explaining during the vBlog announcement on 18 September 2017? In the video, he is greatly over-the-top dramatic about how there may be something major looming on the horizon that might cause him to lose his house. But infuriatingly, there's no clear direct follow-up video revealing what the big hoopla was about. After all that drama, you'd expect another video clearly titled that reveals the big secret. Is there such a video?

Unknown health issue that DSP has. He never revealed it and I think that he waiting until he is done with the tax saga to hold it over his audience.

Another low and slow day for our hero, the Dark Surfer. I know it's dangerous to even mention this, because paypigs tend to pop up and save the day, but with roughly two hours to go, it's not looking good:

He got a $4 dollar tip during pre-stream he didn't write down because it was a troll, and during gameplay I think the only tip besides the current $5 was a $3 tip.

Of course in DSP's mind it's the game that's causing this, and while it's a kinda generic, bland game, it's not bad. It's... okay, I guess. But why on earth he isn't teaming up with people/fans/mods in this heavily co-op focused game to at least try to add some spice to it is completely beyond me.

Nothing he could do, I guess.

-edit- While I was typing this, he moaned about people posting frog emotes in chat, and promptly people were getting timed out when they posted said frogs in a response to DSP.

Yeah, what on earth could be the reason for him being negative about the game? I really wonder... ?

-edit2- Lol, he just deleted World War Z, complaining that he doesn't know what to do for the remainder of the game. He's going on break now and will play Street Fighter when he comes back.

Big problem with his narrative being 30x10min/60= 5 hrs. Eight hours of gameplay calculates out to 48 videos. Now, I could be incorrect, but I don't remember him posting 48+/- 10 min videos everyday. Additionally, he has in the past said he played games for ~4-6 hours a day which fit in with his daily video uploading. This 'full-time work schedule' where he's putting in 10+hrs a day has only become part of his story in recent years where he needed to tell folks how hard he was working.

He really only works like 4 hours a day, if that. He either acts overwhelmed or really is due to him keeping himself on his dumbass "schedule". Cause his streaming times are about 3 hours each with a huge break in the middle (sorry that's when he's "racing around trying to eat real fast and run errands, literally haven't even sat down yet d00d"), then you add in his begging time and bathroom breaks during stream and he really only games (sorry, I mean "works") a few hours a day. Then he spends the rest of the night drinking, watching movies, and posting on social media..er I mean "babysitting uploads".

Personally I don't understand why he doesn't mix up his schedule. After Leanna left he was so "pahsitive" about it because now he had "freedom" with his schedule and to try new things. Though I don't understand why this would be an issue now since Kat's schedule is random as well, and they're married. Plan your streams around Kat's schedule if you're that much of a cuck, or do what you need to do to make your money and you'll see her later anyways. Not like your wife is gonna leave you, right?

If his schedule is so hectic and complex why not do longer streams Fri-Sun, upload the vids Sunday night and chill Mon-Thurs. Or cancel the morning stream cause that's a random ass time to stream anyways and do a 4-10 when most people will be getting home and winding down for the day. Or do a M/W/F or mix it up. Maybe do a random stream at 2am to gain some European viewers. He can literally do anything he wants and the cuck bucks will still keep flowing in. Don't see why he ties himself down to such a dumb schedule and "when Kat gets back".

Idiot complains he wasted 40 bucks on the game, but he can't trade it in because he bought digital. He didn't even know you could buy a physical copy. A 5 second search on amazon shows you can.

He could even trade it back to amazon for credit, and not have to show his face in public. Still too much work.

Shocking that DSP doesn't know how long it takes to plan, execute, and edit a professional video.

I'm sure ZeroLenny only took 20 minutes to shoot his Dark Souls Experience videos beating the entire game with a broken sword or a torch.

But he does though, that's the funny thing. He made that Homefront Review on his other channel that got over a million views. Then he made a "Thank you! Here's my sob story and how to donate. Be back in a few weeks" video and fucked off on vacation. When he came back he made a few more that tanked and blamed it on "peepul lost interest in my highly edited, highly stylized videos that YOU PEOPLE ASKED FOR!1111 So fuck it. I'm not gonna waste 20 hours on a PROFESSIONALLY made video when I can just spam 20 hours of gaming videos on DSPgaming and make the same amount ack ack ack fuckin idiots man."

His biggest reason for not doing so is rendered completely meaningless by Amazon, which not only will ship him games on release day but which will also buy back his used games via him mailing them to one of their warehouses, free of charge for shipping. Combine that with being able to order free boxes via the USPS and Phil can sell back all the games he wants, to a faceless corporation rather than potential detractors, still without leaving his bunker. He could be paying a net 70-80%, conservatively, for every game he buys but he won't because he's too lazy to set a few things up online and spend part of his precious day off boxing up a few games.

Here's the thing though. With some notable exceptions like Sekiro and MK11 next week, DSP doesn't have to buy new games at all. He can wait until PS Plus has a sale and buy them half off to begin with. There was no reason he had to buy Phoenix Wright or WWZ the day it came out. He's well past the point of "first day views" inflating his tips/cheers on all but 5-6 games per year.

He also doesn't play games when it makes sense to play them. He didn't play WWE once during Wrestlemania week. He didn't play a single Kingdom Hearts game leading up to KH3.

There's no real good reason why he can't play Nioh again. Or Nier Automata. Or anything he's bought in the last ten years. Except for Redemption runs, he plays a game once and then never picks it up again. So why waste his money to buy everything full price the first day? I mean, I know why he does it, so this question is more rhetorical than anything.

And I don't know about you guys, but it always eases my mind when I see "the general public" react to a random DSP encounter. Why? Because it's always the same kind of reactions and they're mostly a carbon copy of what we say here on KF.

I guess it's nice to get confirmation every once and a while that it's not us who are crazy. Well... maybe we are, but not the DSP kind of crazy anyway.?

He's just that incredibly fucking lazy, there are 2 Gamestops within a 10 minute distance from him, he could easily buy the games there and trade them back in when finished but his ass is too paranoid and thinks some 'mentally ill detractor' will be there to rob or murder him. Why doesn't Phil go to gamestop?

1. Kat has the car for work. Phil won't take the bus even though the bus stop is right across the street.

2. He has no time. He has to rush rush rush. Spending an hour going to buy games would derail his streams. He can afford to be late a few times a month though, and spend sometimes over an hour talking before actually starting to play anything.

3. He doesn't have any space to store these games. His house is jam packed! He has a bunch of stuff in storage and you expect him to find more space?

His buying games digitally makes sense; the Gamestops near him open 15 minutes before he theoretically starts his streams and Amazon deliveries probably aren't that early either. Then you get the day one patches for disc games.

Think about the schedule, guys. The almighty, unbreakable schedule. He MUST have new games installed on time to play music for 30 minutes and then talk for another hour, he can't just delay a day one release for 90 minutes while he runs to the store.

There will always be something super special seeing Phil only pull his mic down on his headset for Apex - otherwise we're watching someone wear a headset with a mic up, talking into a recording mic, complain about teammates not having any sense of teamwork.

On the previous WWZ stream he claimed he'd need a week to plan out playing with viewers for WWZ because the background check takes at least a week to process once you've turned over your SSN to Phil.

Yesterday his chat was convincing him that Sterling was the streamer who pulled a gun on stream. Does anyone know if that belief took? I love the idea of him truly believing that.

The gimmick always was that DSP had a few people willing to give him hundreds of dollars. If you take them away he makes a couple dollars a day pretty much minimum wage. I can only hope the whales are finally seeing the light and are fed up of his lies too. Not to mention he has this self important attitude now ever since he came back from his scam wedding.
