I am going to head this off at the pass.
@Shane_Yes_That_One I want to explain to you why funimation is so done.
here are the facts if they settle which most companies take as a subtle admission of guilt or if Ty Beard wins a judgement:
- Funimation is a company that will defame associates if it so much as slightly looks like he may be guilty
- Funimation will put fake morality over profit 70% (generous estimation by the way) of the time.
- Funimation approves of illegal acts done by its employees
- Funimation approves of its employees breaking contract
Now, here are the facts if Ty loses:
- Funimation is a company that does not know how to effectively operate social media
- Funimation might be risky to invest in due to the above and potentially opening partners to potential lawsuits
- Funimation employees cannot be trusted to honor contracts.
losing still looks pretty bad huh? now ask yourself
@Shane_Yes_That_One what do you think Toei will think about these facts? what will, say, sony think about these facts? what will prospective employees think? what will people thinking to make contracts with funimation think?
nothing good. a company that cannot be trusted to honor their contract is considered poison to japanese companies. that kills their dubbing business, which is their only business.
I suppose there is a chance that somehow the forces of the universe conspire to prevent this gossip from reaching japan,
@Shane_Yes_That_One though..... don't hold your breathe. its not a sentient thing and if it were, shane, it would not give a fuck about you or me, meaning funimation, in this situation, is fucked beyond belief.
