@harvey dirdban
Its not some top secret info, hell most jails have websites you can search inmates. All the caller did was cut out the middleman and call the source which you can do if you think someone you know is locked up.

Back on the topic at hand in a way. Im glad he is locked up not in the alog way but because he finally got repercussions for his actions. The sad part is he will learn nothing from this.

I was under the impression that Chris having to see a therapist was part of the plea-bargain that Bell cut for the Chandlers two years ago. Either the therapy didn't achieve anything, or the court just never bothered making sure Chris actually attended the sessions.

That court-appointed therapy just kinda fell by the wayside. Either they nixed it at some point in the inordinately long proceedings; or - like so many other instances with the Chandlers - just let it slide.

as i recall it wasn't therapy it was just an evaluation to see if he wasn't insane

I wonder how Barb's role in this will change considering she isn't also arrested this time?
Is it good or bad that I don't have a definite answer?

Considering that the worst-case scenario involves a relatively short stint in the pokey, and considering their light purses, it would be just as Chandler-logical to let Chris go off as it would be for Barb to call up everyone in her address book begging for bail money.

I think that I should make a rather important statement. Simply sentencing Chris to imprisonment for a certain length of time will not alter him and encourage him to enact upon significant and positive alterations in his life. While he may be sentenced to prison and possibly receive a therapy, as long as if Chris remains stubborn and unwilling to be ruthlessly honest with himself and admit that he possesses severe issues, no amount of therapy will help him. I'd like to think that this may perhaps help Chris, but I assure everyone here that therapy doesn't work unless if the client is willing to apply effort into it. Despite all of what has occurred in his life, Chris has continued on his path of nonsense. Until he becomes ruthlessly honest with himself and actually attempts positive forms of alteration nothing will occur. A quote from a rather wise and inspiring mind explains this rather well. "We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." - Albert Einstein, physicist.

It's odd. It was obviously likely to happen but for some reason I still can't believe this dumbass got arrested again. A big part of me expected his dumb luck to save him again.

I believe that Rocky's involvement in arranging Robert Bell to represent them was due more out compassion for Barb's plight and an act of kindness in Bob's memory. After the comments Chris made about raping her and those letters against her church, she would have left Chris to burn alone if it was just him under arrest in 2011.

She was helping Chris as recently as that Manchester High School lego video.

I wonder if he lost his shit like he did in 2011. Would love to know the details of the 2011 incident. Just from what he's mentioned, he acted like a drunken, drugged out retard. Like an extreme case on that COPS knockoff show Jail. I would be he did. Probably ended up in one of those restraint chairs.

I'm, as a rule, no fan of police officers. When I listened to that call and the cop who is just behind his desk trying to do his job responded with "let me guess, Chandler?" I just thought to myself "oh you poor son of a bitch."

I was surprised how good-humored he sounded. I hope at least they'll get some good drinking stories out of this.

OH SHIT SON!

This really is too good! Chris is finally getting a little bit of punishment. Video court though? Isn't that something they do when key witnesses are terrified to be in the same room as the suspect?

Because it makes sense really.

Not quite. Barb hated Rocky due to her getting the police involved during the Ivy saga, so I doubt she did that for him. Despite what Chris said about raping her she bailed them out for Chris' sake. Why? Dunno, maybe she's trying to be a good christian, maybe she has some sort of soft spot for Chris, maybe she's just a misguided fool with good intentions (my money is on that one).

Nothing much to say other than "Goddammit, Chris". Pretty much everyone predicted this degradation of his mental state after Bob's death, and it looks like it's keeping in the downhill slide. I've always tried to be optimistic that he might mellow out some day and at least be a happier person even if he is determined to be a shut-in, but that really doesn't look to be in the cards. The best thing to hope for it that the court gets him appropriate help that he obviously needs (whether that entails therapy or jail is the question...), and that no police officers get hit with his purse.
