§ 18.2-312. Illegal use of tear gas, phosgene and other gases.

In the jail call the Police Member stated he was be held for spraying a gas, so under my read of the statue Chris would be Charged with common Assault and the Illegal Use of gas which is a felony separate from the assault,

If this one showed up in your stack and you weren't a fan, would you try to throw the book at him?

I'm going to venture a guess and say he gets off lightly again because of Barb.

He can plead that he is the sole caretaker of an elder woman who cannot manage by herself and this plus his obvious mental issues will get him some leniency.

Chris's luck has held out to so far I bet he get off with probation and a final warning.

Note: I'm not saying this is what he deserves just what I think will happen in the end.

It likely on the low end of the offense so I would seek around to miuim.. That said unless I was offer a plea I would process with malicious intent with the 5 year miniim because it look from the video he did to hurt some one. All of these said I would have to fully review the file and talk to witness first. I would be open a plea to common assualt with 3-4 month jail to save the court time

Also notice that the cop said he had two pair of glasses (along with the fake breasts).
Which means, he had his regular glasses under those tight MLP ones?

Isn't his probation from his previous run-in not up until June 2015? Surely this will have a huge impact on everything? A bit unsure how that works but its bound to have some effect right?

For some reason, I just imagine it like the final moments of a Twilight Zone episode. Chris is sitting miserably in his cell, he looks out the window and sees Clyde Cash, who's laughing smugly as he walks arm and arm with PandaHalo, with their kid beside them. Chris just looks at this in silence, then begins to scream out "Damn you Clyde Cash! Damn yoooooooooooou!"

He probably doesn't remember Panda.

He probably doesn't remember Panda.
He mentions a troll claiming to be from Australia in an email/text to Thetan, along with a list of other fake sweethearts. He remembers the trolls.

EDIT: found it

Chris said it was in the Colin email, but people who were familiar with the trial said it had expired already. Ordinarily you would think someone would know when their own probation ended, but this is Chris, so...

Agree with everyone who says Chris would be crazy to insist on a jury trial, but Chris is pretty damn crazy.

Generally, but certainly not to the level of a Christorian. He will remember the name and abilities of every Pokemon he's ever played to his dying day. He doesn't care about real people unless he thinks he can still get something from them.

He will probably lose it while he's in jail and not get it back until he gets it reinstated. He will need to undergo a new psychological evaluation because his initial diagnosis of autism is way too out of date for the state offices to use it.

Maybe. Although I think it is reasonably likely he will just retreat into himself and back down from any aggression. Not that that would stop people from fucking with him. But it might prevent him from doing stuff that would extend a couple month stay into a much longer one.

I don't know what the prisons are like in his area. Based on the prison documentaries I have watched (which clearly don't make me an expert), prisons vary a whole lot. Specifically in how much they allow a weak guy to mind his own business and not be fucked with by other inmates.

Having his life regimented and no access to the comforts he likes could knock some sense into him and force him to learn that there is stuff he can't get away with. Getting his ass-kicked or worse would just be cruel, and sad to see. I really hope that the justice system recognizes exactly what he is cut out for when sentencing him.

Although there is a part of me that worries that this could be the first step in an unfortunate turn in his life. A couple guys I grew up with turned out to be "career criminals" who are in and out of jail. Part of why is the stuff you hear about. You can't get a job with a criminal record, so you have to return to your "old ways". But based on the two guys I know, the first couple times you go to jail, it is horrible and embarassing and so on. After that it just becomes a cost of doing business. I think there may be a risk that an occassional jail stint may become a part of Chris' semi-vagrant delusional lifestyle. Kind of like his store bans are. He rails against them and considers them injustices, but in the end he shrugs his shoulders and keeps doing what he has always done. He has become used to the idea that getting banned is part of his life. I hope he doesn't get to the point where he sees being sent to jail in the same way, for his sake and for the sake of the people around him, who would be the victims of whatever nonsense he gets locked up for.

All of my gasts have been thoroughly flabbered since yesterday when I saw the video of Chris macing that employee. People were talking about his probation, but as I understood it, it ended last year, so I would say that as far as that sort of thing goes, Chris is in the clear (for not violating probation terms) but the fact remains that he has quite the record, and I sincerely hope that whoever is judging this case hands him a stiff punishment that includes at least some jail time. The 28 Oct 2011 incident incurred some fines and paying for Snyder's medical bills to be sure, but that didn't really teach Charb anything.

I sincerely hope Chris ends up in jail (for real, not for holding like he is now) because it seems that this might be the only way to actually teach him something. He has been banned from multiple locations and been told more than once that vandalism is wrong, yet he continues on with his bad behavior. It's like with a child - when you discipline a child a certain way and explain to them that what they did was wrong and why, and they continue to do it, you need to take a more drastic measure to try to drive the lesson home. Multiple bans, along with fines and probation, have not been successful, thus a new (and sterner) punishment needs to be administered.

I just realized these last 3 days are probably the longest Chris has ever been separated from a parent in his entire life. He's definitely losing it right now.
That's been brought up several times in this thread already, but I'm not sure if Barb might have been able to visit him in jail. Anyone know for sure? Last time he couldn't see her at all because they were both locked up, but this time, if visitors are allowed, she could come down. On the other hand, she's lazy and he's a 30 minute drive away, so probably not.

I think people who believe going to jail will do CWC any good at all are kidding themselves. Look at Chris-chan before the trolls, then look at him after. Macing people in stores. If people playing a few games with him on the Internet is going to do that to him imagine what prison life will do. I really hope he does not get jail time, for his own sake. He needs mental care, not to be thrown away. He is basically a child in a man's body and prison would kill any child. At the same time, it will also do him harm to walk away from this scot-free.

In terms of knocking in the man's window, I don't believe he had any malicious intent, but Chris-chan looks rather intimidating now. Not "he will punch me" intimidating, but "he might wear my skin on his skin" intimidating, and that the man was just spooked and called the cops. Might explain why its not really been mentioned by any other sources.

Regarding the date the parole ends: Chris may have had his parole extended. There would be no court records of this, because the Parole Board decides it.

https://vadoc.virginia.gov/vpb/manuals/pb-policymanual-1006.pdf

PAROLE EXTENSION
THE PAROLE BOARD MUST FIX THE PERIOD OF PAROLE
UPON RELEASE OF AN INMATE TO PAROLE SUPERVISION.
THE PAROLE PERIOD MUST NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM
PERIOD OF INCARCERATION THE PAROLEE MAY HAVE
RECEIVED FOR HIS/HER CRIME(S) MINUS TIME ACTUALLY
SERVED. (53.1-156) PERSONS UNDER PAROLE
SUPERVISION SHALL BE DISCHARGED FOLLOWING THE
EXPIRATION OF THE FIXED PAROLE PERIOD UNLESS THE
BOARD EXTENDS THE PAROLE PERIOD PRIOR TO THE
EXPIRATION DATE. THE PAROLE PERIOD MAY BE
EXTENDED BY THE BOARD UPON A FINDING THAT
DISCHARGE AT THE SCHEDULED EXPIRATION DATE
WOULD BE INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE WELFARE OF SUCH
PERSON OR OF SOCIETY.
(53.1-136)

Chris may have done something at some point that set off red lights to his parole officer, who got it extended.

He's not on probation, which is good for him, but his prior arrest record will definitely come into play. He's not going to get the minimum penalty, even with the autism card.

Will Chris be tried in the same court as last time, or is he in a different jurisdiction? Drawing the judge from the last case would probably change the proceedings significantly.

Damn. I hate to see it happening.

The different types of responses from different Internet communities Chris was involved with, have been the most interesting to me. The facebookers, tumblrites, and the Sonic Boom blarmers have stayed in character in their responses. So has the cwckiforum. Interesting.

2 cent prediction: Chris will be arraigned tomorrow morning, bail will be set, the bondsman Barb contacts will arrange his release, Barb will take him home.
His home punishment will consist of whatever you want to imagine, but will involve yelling and moving heavy boxes.

For Marvin, who accurately called the "crazy eyes". Chris did it wrong, the guy didn't run. He needs help.

The thing is the really bad part of it is that pepper spray was let fly for no reason in a packed store

Yeah, if he gets charged with that he's probably going to get some time. State charges are never a laughing matter. Chris' fate rely depends on if he gets a good lawyer or not.

Don't get me wrong. I hope Chris gets jail time, he's a total shit-basket and you can't just go on a tare, pepper spray people and fuck up the mall and just get off scott free with the Autism card.
