This episode is all about Paslow being under a spell and going through multiple personalities that are based on whatever costume he's wearing, so we don't even get to know the real Paslow anyway. What a pointless episode.

I can’t place it, but I know for a fact I’ve seen that exact scenario somewhere else, not that it’s a shock to see him rip something off

Good god, he wrote a magical girl anime parody scene called Saturn Moon. They all dress as magical girls and have a final fight. There are a ton of fight scenes in this episode and how does it all climax?
Tiana rushes towards Paslow, but he’s easily able to apprehend her.
That's it. Tiana rushes Paslow and he just. Wins. End of fight. Then this happens?
Tiana: Which is truly better… subs or dubs?

Paslow: [In Japanese, with no subtitles] Neither. True fans learn Japanese and watch the original with no alterations.
Why
Cherry: What do you think this is, a cartoon?
Oh hahaha fuck you Enter. Must think he's the most clever man on the planet writing shit like this.

The story ends with the shop owner from the beginning just telling Paslow to be himself and be good at making costumes again and this fixes everything. Then there's this strangely ominous last scene with the shop owner looking terrified and telling the other kids to enjoy Halloween but I don't understand why she's acting that way at all. In fact I don't understand half the things in this episode.

Edit: Forgot to mention about the Japanese thing. This script comes from the same guy who lambasted Mars Needs Moms because the aliens didn't always speak English so he couldn't figure out what was happening.

Actually, his criticism was that there were no subtitles or translation for their dialogue.

There didn't need to be. The visuals conveyed everything that needed to be said.

You could say that, but I wouldn’t really say Enter’s being a hypocrite here, ‘cause I feel he’d probably add subtitles to the scene.

Well this just shows Enter doesn't follow his own rules because he's stated numerous times that magic doesn't exist in the universe of Growing Around.

It specifically says there'd be no subtitles.

It turned out not to be magic at all and it was all inside Paslow's head.

Character puts on clothes and they get a different personality...why the fuck does that sound so damn familiar. I know I've heard of this plot before but I just cannot put my finger where and it's gonna drive me nuts now.

ed, edd and eddy had a similar plot with a boomerang that changed the character's personalities
