Well, you can't really blame the woman. She never actually goes to see any doctors, so how is she supposed to know how diagnoses are made?

They likely cleared her medically and the PE drama is just one of MANY things they want to follow up on, but the risk is not dire enough to warrant an inpatient stay.
Most hospitals in Ontario are operating at maximum capacity, mostly due to dumb fuck land whales like Chantal waddling in for a slew of made up medical issues that all boil down to the one thing NONE of them want to hear, which is "Lose weight".
The hospitals are not keen to admit someone unnecessarily, especially if they are drama kweens like I am sure this cow is.
As far as liability is concerned, in Canada, the amount you receive from a negligent death lawsuit is pretty small compared to the US. Doctors will run the necessary tests to rule out anything immediately life threatening, then send you on your way with appointments for follow up.
As far as Chantal goes, there is a list of many things that could kill her, it would be hard to sue a doctor for negligence when she is negligent to her body to begin with.

Ok, I'm sorry but there is NO WAY that hospital would discharge her. I went through this entire process with a boyfriend who ended up having a pulmonary embolism. I was with him as he started getting short of breath, and major chest pain. He was still able to communicate and be responsive, but it was PAINFUL and there was no way he would have whipped out his phone for updates, that's for sure. After going to urgent care, we went through the exact same diagnoses as Chantal claims she has been going through. As soon as there was even suspicion of a PE or DVT, they admitted him into the hospital RIGHT away, and he didn't end up leaving for weeks. And he was an otherwise healthy, not-overweight, athletic 23 year old man!! And....this was in MEXICO, where the healthcare is not nearly as trustworthy or advanced as first-world nations (although the doctors took awesome care of him, and were allover great). Like someone said earlier, something just doesn't smell right about this story.

So after not getting a diagnosis ASAP she discharged herself in a huff ...they couldn't /wouldn't give her a bed,.

Remember she can't lie down and sleep without her machine, so after her acting performance in ER falling on deaf ears and sitting on small uncomfortable plastic seats she buggered off home. So Chintal just got a follow up appointment for later, (that can be faked later)

She's full of shit and an attention seeking whore..

This is the exact same kinda lie like the one with McDonald's drive through and homeless man. She will release angry video soon about why would she lie about something like that and that people need to get a life.

She has a French Fry for a brain so I'm not surprised.

If she was in fact given discharge papers then perhaps they say the doctor checked her for PE and didn't find anything, that's different.

But I think she just made the shit up. Horrible cunt she is.

Also I agree with others - it’s unlikely if they had suspected a PE beyond a hunch they would have sent her home - actually why is she getting her information from discharge papers. Didn’t the doctor have a consultation with her before sending her home letting her know what was going on? She sounds clueless to why she was there and why she is being sent home. Likely, the doctor was talking to her about why O2 stats can drop rapidly - and while that may be a concern - he thinks it’s likely something else and would like her to follow up to be sure but gonna put her on blood thinners to be safe. That’s what he probably said. Not that she actually has one.

It will not be a confession about how her lifelong burger-bloat effort may have lead to this ('this' actually being an attention-seeking bullshit imma-dying sleigh-ride and not any kind of an actual medical incident, never mind an emergency). Nah, her 'video soon' will be all about how sick she was and how she could have died and ho they kept her waiting just because, and then how they sent her home - her with her possible PEE-EEE - with some paperworkery instructions she's too traumatised to read. And most of all how her Blessed Bibi Boy was there for her, was also real worried for her, and is now so angry aboot the hospital neglecting her it ain't safe to film him..

She's lying. As many of you have said, even with a suspected PE her fat ass isn't going anywhere. I won't PL my story too much, but I've had four clots (different occasions) and three PEs at once and survived but it was (and can still be) a living hell. If this bitch is faking her "suspected" diagnosis I hope karma bites her in the butt and rewards her with a clot or two. My sympathies to those of you who have lost loved ones to a PE and a a hell-yeah to those of us who made it.

I don’t know what kind of network Canada healthcare system uses - but how amusing would it be reviewing Chantal health records and see that she is being seen by a doctor - nutritionalist - ect.... and when prompted to talk about that she tells the doctor about how she knows better and decided instead to listen to a “medium” who advises her from the spirits of the dead on what to eat but wait she changed that and is now plant based but wait she also changed that and has binge eating disorder but also wait she changed that and.... ect... what a headache for the ER doctor. Seeing your patient is currently being counseled by a healthcare team but they opted to ignore that and instead listen to quackjobs, Netflix, and various online communities - oh, who are we kidding. We know Chantal wasn’t honest with him. She probably painted this picture of “I’m trying really hard to adhere to all the medical advice please help me I’m a victim!!”
