Chantal Sarault / Chantal Al-Refae / Foodie Beauty - Delusional drug fiend hamplanet mukbanger from Canada trying to be a glamorous online influencer. Pathological liar, huge bitch, narcissist, animal abuser

Hmmm...the more I read the forum skepticism about Chantal's diagnosis and ER visit in general, the more skeptical I am finding myself becoming too...

At first, I was taking her pretty much at her word (which, in retrospect, I admit is always a very stupid thing to do). I mean, after all, why would anybody lie about this? (Another dumb assumption on my part; I'm not as smart as my avatar is)

Piecing together some of the objections raised in this thread along with what we know about Chantal, here is where my own speculation now lies:

1. I don't doubt she went to the ER since she came back bearing the boilerplate "what is thrombosis" printout. It could have been printed at home, I suppose, but that would require a sinister level of evil forethought that I just don't think fatso can muster. Not that she isn't sinister and evil, but she usually resorts to her chicanery after the fact. She is a lot more reactionary than proactive. Also, she did have medication with her. I will assume it is not grandma's, although my assumptions have bitten me in the ass before.

2. I am skeptical now about the claim of a blood clot in her lung. I think it was raised as a "possibility" and it was more dramatic to say "I have a blood clot in my lung" than to say "I am at high risk of getting a blood clot in my lung" Phrasing it her way assures her of pity and encouragement, which she really needed after her recent episode of chimping out at the audience. Also, by claiming to have one already and not merely at risk of one, she oafishly sidesteps the obvious retort, "well are ya gonna do anything about your lifestyle to prevent that clot?" She can jump right to the pity and comfort stage, thus passing GO and collecting $200...

3. If her life were at immediate risk, I don't think they would have released her. I suspect they gave her blood thinners as a matter of routine prevention; it wasn't serious enough to warrant surgery, which would have presumably sobered her up a lot more. However, she is able to present the medication as the "cure" for a "blood clot"

4. This whole escapade has enabled her to shore up the sagging image of her relationship with Bibi, following her pained dinner date video. Bibi was not only there at the hospital, but he will be injecting her medicine into her fat because he knows how to do it (!) Funnily enough, no sooner did she say this, but a silent Bibi got up from the sofa and left the room.

5. Her demeanor is way too giggly and excited for even a moron with a blood clot. She knows she doesn't really have a blood clot, or she is too fucking stupid to live. (Both are possible, but the former is more likely) Her totally relaxed, shit-story-peppered, giggly sleepover livestream (really, can a deathfatty get more lazy than to livestream from her pillow in bed?) just doesn't jibe with someone told they have a life-threatening condition.

6. She was busy deleting comments when she supposedly was sleeping after her 5-hour second visit to the ER. It was during that time that she deleted the top vote-getter on her "bad news" community post.

I am now of the mind that there is no clot; she's just mil.king her condition for sympathy (which always works for her, until she undoes it all with a chimpout) The chimpout will be set into motion by people questioning the veracity of her story, most likely.

This all feels like a replay of October and last year. When things were going badly for her due to her own stupidity and sloth and deceitfulness, and she seemed painted into the corner of all corners, she would very abruptly land herself in the hospital, and everything would be forgotten. She always seems to get a free "do over" pass every time she goes to the hospital, where everyone seems to drop whatever controversy was brewing before the hospitalization.

What do I know? Nothing. After all this time, she still dumbfounds and perplexes me. But the ambient atmosphere is thick with doubts right now, and the fumes have gotten to me too...

I think Chantal is someone who LOVES having things wrong with her. Her cysts, her blood pressure, bipolar disorder, eating disorder, blood clots, etc. She is a professional victim, its another label she can add to her defence mechanisms: "people hate me because I have x, y and z disorder" "I did x because y is wrong with me"

I believe her story. You can tell how excited she is that something actually happened to her that she can talk about and get sympathy for. Constant community tab updates, "I'm going to rest" followed by hour and a half stream. She's high af from the attention and concern. To a normal person this would be a sobering wake-up call and time to re-evaluate their entire life. Chantal isn't a normal person.

Edit: slightly off topic, but how would you even find veins for an IV on a deathfat like Chanral?
same places as anyone else. You can feel veins through fat deposits, and fat doesn't really determine how deep or shallow veins are on a person. There are thin people with terrible veins and fat people with great ones. It is mostly luck. The only thing you can do to improve your vascularity is to do a lot of weight lifting exercise with your arms, and to stay hydrated.

re: blood clot. I believe she had a blood clot in one of her extremities somewhere, probably a leg. They told her she was at risk for pulmonary embolism if the clot detaches and travels to her lungs. They started her on blood clot dissolving medications (blood thinners) to treat the clot. She will be on these medications for several weeks while the clot slowly gets dissolved by coming in contact with the medication in the rest of the blood stream. There are a few ways to diagnose a blood clot, all of them are fairly quick/easy/cheap. They will do the same tests again after several weeks to see if she can discontinue the blood thinners. She will have to get her blood tested weekly to make sure she her blood is thin enough to work on the clot, but not so thin as to pose a danger to her safety. Chantal is going to get bruises all over the place because of her new medication. The backs of the hands are a place I commonly see tons of bruises on patients who take blood thinners. Her cats walking on her will probably bruise her. The seatbelt buckle and door of the car pressing on her may bruise her. She might not like this new development, basically no one does. It looks horrible and is scary.

Instead of attempting to summarize this monotonous video of Chantal rearranging the items in her filthy, varmint-infested cupboard, which would bore us all to death, I have decided to respond in video form:

'nuff said!
100% guarantee someone has jerked off to this video

She still sits on a toilet of lies. She mentioned BiBi was at work but his sister was with her at home. Then she said she wanted to take a shower but was afraid to do it alone. A few people asked her if BiBi's sister could sit near the bathroom in case she needed anything but no, Chantal would feel weird about that. Then a few minutes before the chat ends she thanks the ass-patters for their support and said it was good to not be alone. Someone asked "but you're not alone; BiBi's sister is there"...and she ignored it.

I also think she has a clot in her leg, but not a PE.

I'm honestly surprised her community tab is still up. That must be a record for her, at least for the past month or two.

I was looking at the comments on her latest community post (discharged from the hospital, bad news) and all the comments had a very small number of likes each and were incredibly supportive, as shown -
742254

She's definitely patrolling the comments. However, I'm still scrolling, and then I see that one must have slipped past her -
742255

There's not a single other comment like this, and the next most liked comment is at a solid 13. I assume this is going to get deleted pretty soon, tbh.
Oh, and note that Chantal's post itself has 152 likes.

(I have an extension that doesn't show capitals, apologies)

Fear not everyone, Chantal is going to treat her blood clot and ovarian cysts with another 28 day water fast!

Of course she will only last 3 days, and not really, because she will start on the coconut water after hour 6 and then drive to McDonalds for a 2000cal meal.

But don't worry, Chantal knows best, because she believes in her heart that she can cure everything herself.

:story:

She can join Life by Jen who is starting her 30 day water "fast" (wait maybe just a week) but still eats even though its her "fasting day."
I don’t understand how Chantal thinks it’s ok to wander into the ER whenever the mood strikes her. Amberlynn has the same attitude. Doesn’t Canada/BFE Kentucky have Urgent Care?
I can't speak for Canada but I can for BFE US. Some US hospitals are nonprofit and what this means is they cannot turn away anyone for lack of insurance/inability to pay the bill. So they get heart attacks and strokes along with ear aches and "my toe has been hurtin' for two weeks"and I pick 3am to come to the ER. These types see it as free healthcare. It isn't really free, but you can't get blood from a turnip so the hospital ends up writing it off and making up the difference some other way ($30 for an aspirin, etc.)

Yep. That was perhaps the only interesting thing she said in that hour long or whatever stream last night. I found it weird as well that she said she wouldn't feel OK with his sister helping her. This is her "life partner's sister" and she isn't willing to help out in a dire medical situation? If so, that's rather shitty of her. But it's not really "Bibi's sister" is it?

The other tidbit was she said "I'm alone in MY ROOM". So no, her and Bibi do not share a bed on the regular.

As a Canadian, Chantal's story is 100% possible. The health system is fucked, especially in certain provinces. The slow service is fine when you're relatively healthy and can survive the first 24 hours of waiting and fuckery. If someone walks into a hospital with a serious undiagnosed condition that requires timely diagnosis and immediate treatment; they're in danger. Timely diagnosis will NOT happen. And until the diagnosis of the serious condition, the patient won't be given a high priority because of scarce resources. When the first round of tests in the middle of the night didn't find anything, as far as they're concerned she's a low priority because there's no confirmed PE diagnosis. It's very common for doctors to wait until morning, when day staff arrives, before they make more complex tests. There's plenty of time for something to go wrong.
I guess it depends on where you live in Canada. No one can say for certain if Chantal is just a liar or if in fact she did receive an incompetent doctor. But from personal experience as a Canadian that has been a patient in the ER and worked there, the healthcare system in my specific area has drastically improved. So it's hard to tell what's the truth since Chantal's story doesn't add up and she's known to lie and embellish her stories in the past. Either way, she brought this on herself given her track record, so she can't be mad at people for not fully believing her.

I figured the hand would be the first alternative, but with Chantel's big meaty claws, I'd imagine it would be difficult to find one there too.
I'm friends with a phlebotomist who insists it isn't that hard to find veins in fat people. She says it all depends on where the veins sit naturally, that a fattie with high veins is always going to be easier than a skinny person with deep set ones. But I think she means 'normal' fat people, not things like Amber and Chantel. They actually have a tool (The name of which eludes me at the moment) that they can use to find veins in very obese people.

This is what I believe happened being a canuck and working in a hospital.
She went to the ED, she may have been complaining of the leg pain or whatever and they did a doppler on the legs and discovered a clot, or what they believe is a clot. It was the weekend (if I am not mistaken) and they probably gave her heparin to start working on that clot before she could see a specialist because they don't usually work weekends; and unless it's a life or death emergency, they aren't coming in.
The breathing is probably nothing other than the 300 lbs of additional gut she has pressuring her lungs.
As other posters have mentioned, because of people like Chantal, the healthcare system is one big fuckery and they will not admit you unless a) you have a serious medical condition or b) you or your family kick and scream and cause a scene, and the on call ED doctor just says fuck it and admits you, knowing your care will be transferred to the next doctor or the internist for that particular hospital unit.
I know people who have almost died in the ED waiting because there was no overtly obvious medical issues and dumb fucks like Chantal are clogging up the ED with their self inflicted issues that could have been dealt with at a doctor.

And FYI, we don't have any urgent care centres and the walk in clinics we do have are only open till like 8pm at the latest during the week only. Weekends the hours are even shorter. Most people think of it as "free" healthcare, when in reality people who actually work and pay taxes; pay for your abuse of the healthcare system. This is why people come to the ED instead of clinics.

Time will be the tattletale on Chantal. Her condition will have to be monitored over time. If the ER in the US sent her home with some issue they would refer her to a specialist for her condition. The ER is set up to treat emergencies and then they hand off the patient to another doctor and continue treating emergencies. I would think Canada isn't that much different in the ER referral process. (Clusterfuckk posted as I was typing this and confirms.)

She has a history for fucking off with her doctor's visits though. Well, now it will probably be a very bad idea for her to continue this behavior, unless she's being a liar liar fat grandma pants on fire.

I totally agree with you, things were getting ugly with the "Bully" posts so she throws this in to distract everyone and thus becoming a victim and having sympathy. Politicians do this constantly it's a known thing... I know it's only a show but a prime example of this is House of cards, they made up a terrorist attack when they wanted the president out for dirty tricks.

Chintal is a manipulator, I did laugh when Zach said on his livestream that it's not Chintal's baby voice it's her "manipulator voice"..

This thought occurred to me while I was watching the spring cleaning video and made me laugh/cringe... Chantal mentioned that her can of chickpeas had expired. How long do you suppose she had that can before it expired? Months? Years? I don't know how fast chickpeas spoil, but you'd think they'd last for at least a while.
