To "honor" Jaquie on the day of her funeral, Jan posts about her new diagnosis, Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome, which is treated with... major abdominal surgery (in her words a "verrrrry aggressive surgery"). She's not upset about the surgery or the recovery but the fact that she has to travel for it. Also, a second opinion said she doesn't have it. So she's doctor shopping for someone to do it closer to home for her convenience. Munchies gonna munch.

Also recommend this video with her and Jacqui discussing how their EDS differs. I don't know enough about it to say for sure but this girl seems much more legit at least with the hypermobility aspect. It's really awkward to see Jacqui justifying why hers is different, or jumping in very excitedly to confirm that she gets the same symptoms when they do overlap.

Well....that ends the speculation about whether she was conscious when she started dying. She was, and she knew her organs were failing. Sounds like it went on for a few days before she actually died. I wonder if she started to think, oh shit I really fucked up? I wonder if she was scared enough to use that opportunity to confess that she'd been faking the whole time and she didn't really want to die? Or did she keep up the munchie act until she died? I also wonder at what point they knew she was terminal and started end of life care, and if she knew she was going to die. Just some thoughts I had listening to Izzy describe how things went down.

Multi-organ failure can happen rapidly. We don't know at what point she was incapable of making decisions for herself, but Judd's initial post makes it sound like the doctors. we're explaining to him why there were no options rather than to both of them.

These sorts of things are the things that keep a person up at night. But I'll admit - I'm desperately curious to know, too.

She's exploiting her friends death and letting people assume it's to help her dead friend's husband instead of her, when she hasn't mentioned Judd's name once when mentioning the wish list.

I don't think Jan ever really liked Jaq all that much. I think she liked her for what she could get her i.e. recognition. Look at the video that mentions her death in the title and not at all in the video. As for the wish list I can see a real possibility that Judd has nothing to do with it.

I recently lost someone to liver failure. When your organs start going kaput it messes with your cognitive abilities. The person I lost didn't even remember what year it was or their birthday so chances are if Jaquie declined quickly she probably wasn't aware of much once it started to impact her brain.

My question is, based on Izzy's statement her organs started to fail and then they found the cause? so was the hernia not in any way obvious? She was thin enough that by looking at her stomach they should've been able to see that something wasn't right at least. I know she was bloated to hell but I would think that bloating is not the same as dead insides.

less than 5 yrs ago ? wow. so Paul got with Jan after Judd got with Jaq ? She made short work of shaking up with and marrying him. I will say in her defense it must be traumatizing having that thing crawl on top of you and pump away. but that's no excuse for her behavior.

He murdered his mom on October 19, 2014. No idea when they broke up, but it was close enough to the murder (and possibly after?) for JanJan to be aware of his mental health status and for his mom to call her because she was worried about Jan's safety.
