I've heard of these before. Sometimes, they are called CMVs, or Cartoon Music Videos. Here's a few that I've found:
I did post this on the Closing Logos thread before, but this one was the most ridiculous CMV/HMV I've ever seen of a song (mainly due to the swearing put over clips of preschool shows) that it needed to be posted here as well!
And not only are they on YouTube, sometimes, script-form ones are on Scratchpad Wikia, which is just as terrible as Pooh's Adventures. Here's some of the scripts they have for the songs on Scratchpad:
An Elmo's World version of a one-time song from a Disney show!
Characters from a Canadian block sing a song about brushing teeth.
SpongeBob characters singing a Chuck E Cheese song.
See them ruin Phantom of the Opera here!
And here's Ash singing a SpongeBob song.

And like others of this calibur, he makes movie trailers but with fictional characters substituting the established cast like:
