Most states have what is known as a "Romeo and Juliet" clause in their statutory rape laws. Basically a 4 year grace period. To trigger the statutory rape laws there has to be more than 4 years difference in age between the parties bumping uglies.

What absolutely baffles my mind is why anyone found the need to lie to exaggerate this particular clip. Wasn't it enough that this makes Sandwich-Snatcher look really creepy?? It's definitely a clip that would make most reasonable people wince, not one that would convince the masses that Vic's a child stealing serial murder rapist. However, I don't understand how that video hasn't been plastered around the internet in such a way that I could have actually missed it if I went searching for anything involving Vic.

If I was KickVic, I'd be shoving that clip everywhere, always, all the time, so that whenever someone who maybe just heard of the situation goes to see what's up, one of the first things that they'd see was somebody handwaving/trying to excuse the comment, and that's not a good first impression. It can be overcome, but it would make normies want to shy away.

But that's not what they've done. They've led with pictures of Vic with fans that they've had to take down because said fans came out and called them out for trying to spin those pics to attack Vic, when everything was consensual and happy and good. They led with rumors of homophobia, only to be immediately shot down by videos of Vic kissing other dudes and trying to talk down super bigoted christian protestors( and that gay werewolf audio book he narrated under his own name). They led with stories of him being a Diva, to which pretty much everyone who's ever gone to, or worked in, any kind of Con responded with "...And?" They led with 100s of invisible and apparently mute women who all have stories that they aren't going to tell, but trust us, they're really real and definitely not something we're making up now because we didn't expect to get the pushback we're getting right now, and when pushed harder for stories, they came out with, "Oh he pulled my hair and said something that was maybe sexual I don't actually remember in my ear, I told him to stop......... and he did."

Either they know Vic isn't a danger to underaged girls, so they aren't constantly pushing that idea because they know that the public ire for them lying about that would destroy them, or they're under the opinion that that would be the least of his sins. Which is absolutely disgusting.
