It isn't silly, what's silly is your need of wanting to be in a relationship and putting it as this main crusade of yours. Really do you understand relationships? I'll be honest, I don't really get it. Not the meaning of it, but the point. I could go without being in one, although the relationship I am in just sort of happened. I didn't pursue it, so I'll go with it. It makes me happy.

As nice as heating is, you won't die without it, just as life without a partner won't kill you. It can make life better, sure. Its nice, but certainly not above food, health, shelter and general happiness.

Love is a very selfless thing, on both parties. Everyone is different, sometimes generalizations come about which are true about both genders. I've had men and women tell me the same thing. About how, women claim men are pigs and only want sex, or women just want status and money.
