It's almost like if Vic told about the women he slept with, it might ruin a few marriages, as well as a cucked engagement if theories are proven true. All of them are focusing on the fact that Vic is affected by the confidentiality, while disregarding the fact it isn't just Vic who would be affected.

My assumption is that they - like a lot of stupid people using social media - consider social media to not be "public", even though it totally is. I have to assume that's at least a part of it, along with the freedom of general anonymity.

The theory that Vic wants a confidentiality agreement so Ron won't learn of an affair he had with Monica while they were engaged doesn't make any sense. Ron is a party to the lawsuit. He will get to hear Vic's testimony regardless of any confidentiality agreements.

I'm not speaking on it being revealed to Ron. I'm talking about something like that being made publically known. Further revealing the depths of cuckery Ron has embraced to the public.

Edit: The theory I was also speaking on was that of Monica and Vic being much more involved than first let on.

It doesn't even have to be that. As Nick has pointed out, there are no rape shield provisions in civil cases. That means Monica and Marchi's sexual histories are fair game. I doubt it would take much to portray them as "loose" women who come onto everyone, and I doubt that a conservative jury will be very sympathetic if that happens.

Nick theorized that their lawyer told them they wouldn't be deposed so it could be that they don't want a confidentiality agreement because they believe they won't have to testify. It's easy to push for transparency if you don't think you'll ever be called on to account for anything.

It's mostly seen as a show of good faith between the two parties. Which is why that statement Casey made was seen as such a slap in the face.

I think that at most Casey may have told them that filing the anti-SLAPP would delay their depositions and that if the anti-SLAPP succeeded then they'd never have to testify. I very much doubt that he failed to tell them what would happen if the anti-SLAPP was dismissed.

He's punching above his weight at the moment but he's not stupid. It was a clever ploy on his part even if his reaction to it not working was stupid. It remains to be seen how quickly he can adapt to the new rules of engagement.

Ron literally doesn't know Vic's dirty laundry. All of his information about Vic has come from others. He wouldn't be trawling through youtube videos looking for "evidence" if he had personal knowledge of misdeeds by Vic. He wouldn't need to.
