This was never brought up, but am I the only one who always found his "authoritative" stance on videos about conferences and the like to be extremely fucking irritating?

I would get so pissed at them, I would regularly hide them from my feed whenever uploaded. I never cared, first, but most of all, it was just "Fuck off, Jared. You're not that important."

Really, this kind of behavior is on par with a lot of other youtubers from that era of lets playing and game reviews. If slowbeef and diabetes didn't nail your ass to the wall first, your own incompetence will seal your demise into obscurity.
The ones that "made it" like Jared felt like they were invincible. A celebrity. It's just a case of an ego getting out of control, and now we're seeing the death knell of that ego.

It's 100% fake. Some dude on B has been samefagging thread after thread trying to convince people it's real. Usually goes something like this:

8 people reply within 1 minute "omg the scat video is real guys!!! its actually real!!!"
When people ask for screenshots/reuploads, you are almost instantly replied to with "bro i saw it, it was fucked up, but not gonna post it, just trust me"

Also, doesn't Snapchat send an alert to the people in a chat if you screenshot it? Same with just snaps themselves?

The original leaks were photos of a cellphone, weren't they? I can't remember if the HQ versions were leaked.
If I recall correctly Snapchat has a feature that when you send a picture it can be seen as many times as you'd like so maybe the user just went back to the chat and screenshotted them.

As a reminder - Jared was apparently telling all his friends (probably including Holly) that he was being "abused" by Heidi to excuse his actions.

This is actually an incredibly common relationship abuse tactic. The abuser isn't just happy screwing with you, but in order to play into their LARP of being the wronged party - they'll tell or suggest to everyone that the relationship has soured because of their partner with a "waa poor me" story.

A relationship psychopath also gets off pitting the outgoing old interest vs the new flame who doesn't know what they are getting into. Not that it makes them much better.

People will be like "Wait so how do we know this isn't the reverse?" - heres how you know. Heidi has been open that it wasn't all Jared and has even said she doesn't quite fully believe on people "cancelling" him - but she also recognised that eventually there was a choice to improve together or improve alone. Heidi got her own therapy and support for her issues as well as building on her own personal skills. She's pretty much moved on, and would of been happy to just part ways.

(Seriously - had Jared just said "Yeah I'm getting divorced because I was sleeping with someone else" or even "We're breaking up please respect our space" and none of that "lol don't believe anything you hear about me" stuff - he might of had a few more weeks before that investigation finished and revealed him for a POS)

Relationship vampires will never have this outlook, even when their actions are laid bare. It will always be someone else's fault or a massive self-flogging purely because it's an excuse or they think the oscar winning performance will win people over.
