I'm surprised the shit isn't just on hiatus for a few weeks to try and let it blow over, find replacement players and figure out a way to work them into the game. It's bad enough when a PC dies and the player is just rolling up a new one, never mind trying to just erase two of them out of existence, find new players, and work the characters in all in four days.

This will be the first real "tell" into what their future will be like. Will DCA go silent on the matter and just postpone for a week or more? Will they release a statement tomorrow that they have been let go? Will they continue with Jared and Holly as if nothing happened? (highly doubtful).

This Scott the Woz guy sounds to be a very good and entertaining guy. Recently I watched a guy named Nitro Rad cover one of my favorite games and it felt like a genuine review, to the point that it was almost like the old days of ProJared that I forgot to love, because I stopped liking how plain and boring Jared became. He's genuinely funnier than anyone at NormalBoots at this time. Might check Scott out soon.

Apparently after falling out with Holly, Jessica became a typical leftie on twitter(Berkeley graduate), experimented with twitch for 4 years(small time) and works at Microsoft on some team involving holograms and VR goggles, but seems to still be doing cosplay based on a March tweet. She still runs in the same tabletop circles as Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day as well.

They both had a very quirky appeal, probably the same sort of manic pixie dreamgirl vibe that you see in Zoe Quinn before we knew just how awful dangerhairs were in the latter half of this decade. They also both wormed their way into whatever industries they took an interest in; not just anybody gets easy access to Jim Henson's workshop for example. Body language, speech patterns, small mannerisms, connections, it was all a good sell. Anyways, I'm not trying to convince anyone to bang Holly, just painting a picture of her seemingly strange appeal. Girls with handicaps like lazy eyes can easily bag any guy they want with a little nerdy talk and flashing a resumé with no food service.

Oh, I know they're aware and I checked the last vid to see that they'd done those things, but I can't believe they're just pushing forward without at least taking a week off or something.

There's gonna be a shit ton of people there who have no interest in the game itself and just want to see an "outcome" of some sort. There's gonna be a fuck load of people with socks lined up that have been following for a whole day to skirt any followers-only mode limit they put up. It's gonna be a fucking disaster to do it this soon. They won't go sub-only mode, I don't think. I imagine they'll spend a whole 2 minutes at the beginning to simply say something like, "We're not going to talk about what happened. It is what it is and we've decided to part ways and move on. If you bring it up you're going to be at least temporarily banned, so don't bother."

It won't make a difference and people are still going to shit up chat. This is all shit that's not even in the game, like trying to write out two characters instantly and write in two new ones so they aren't sitting on the sidelines until whatever arc they're currently involved in is done. Just feels like a bad move to not at least take a week off.
