So what, she's actually upset that someone wrote an article explaining that chopping your dick off might cause regrets? People like Billy parading around how awesome it is to be trans and how parents need to get their boys on hormone blockers the instant the glance in the general direction of a doll is the reason the world is in dire need of such articles in the first place.

Just like how Billy REE'd against medical science for being able to prove the old "female brain in a male body" addage with specialized scanning and diagnostics. If it rattles LaBelle's worldview in any way or makes him question his decisions, no matter how small, he will flip the fuck out over it.

Troons always claim that they have nothing against detransitioners, but the few times the voices of detransitioners are heard and they are allowed to explain why they didn't feel comfortable identifying with their birth sex, they throw a hissy fit because it promotes trunsphobia.

Also, there were not two, but six detransitioners who were interviewed. Did he even read the article?

Hadn't caught up at the time that last comic was new, so I didn't comment on in then, but someone that got fired from their position as a grade school teacher writing a comic "for kids" where a 13-14 year old says "some people like having sex, and that's fine" should be setting off some serious alarm bells.

One last thing regarding the detransition issue.

The conundrum is as follows: How to sort between people who would detransition and those who will stay trans.
And why would we want to do that? So that detransitioners can avoid useless medical procedures like breast or testicular ablation, or wrecking their bodies with hormones.
That way, there will not be any detransitioners and only real trans(tm) so the trannies should be happy.

Not sure how we should go about it. But the current trans paradigm/dogma prevents that. It's shitty, really, that they'd put kids under the bus because "passing is important!". Bullshit. If not passing was a reason for suicide, Kiwi Farms would run out of troons.

Thing is, even doing the whole puberty blockers and hormones thing is not a guarantee that the troon will pass. Look at Jazz Jennings, who has had all the advantages a trans child could have, and now has a boy face and old lady body, plus some pretty gross complications arising from the surgery.

Even then, the sad reality is that GRS and hormones do not change a person’s sex, but rather alter their body into something that - best case scenario - has the superficial appearance of their preferred gender identity. This is why so many trans women are still miserable after getting the chop.

Caution should be the watchword. If a person is trans and you race them into transitioning, they may wind up happy, possibly. If a person merely thinks they are trans, transitioning is an irreversible process that will definitely leave them miserable.

Not that Billy gives a fuck about anyone else.

Well, from Billy's post, if you detransition then you're cis, so you were never really trans in the first place. According to that logic, then, there are in fact cis people who are trooning out, for reasons other than gender dysphoria - the tucutes, I suppose - and that means they could be doing it for all sorts of reasons. Say, societal pressures, or domineering parents, or even to take advantage of the privileges being a troon grants them in the eyes of the law or the court of SJW opinion or access to women's spaces.

So on one level it's just your standard anti-truscum bullshit, but on another it's an implicit confirmation that, yes, trooning out can be a social contagion, a mental illness, forced upon you by others, or part of a fetish.

Either way, it's nice to know that Billy is the trans whisperer, and can tell who's trans and who's just faking it. You'd think such a valuable power would be used to better people's lives, rather than to write a shitty webcomic that only appeals to the stupidest troons while helping normal people reach peak trans.
