We don't even have to speculate. We have actual pictures and video of lines out the door and around the corner and a full conference center floor of people waiting to see Vic.

For Monica, we have a cramped comic store full of fat neckbeards, half of them were there for a card game, one of them was a paid mall ninja, and the rest looked bored out of their skulls.

Meter maid says "No your honor, she was there for 2 hours and 5 minutes".

And so its a he said, she said. Only in this case you have someone arguing a 25 dollar parking ticket vs. the process officer issuing the citations. Unless you got something other then your good word, the judge is going to decide against you pretty quick.

Akira is an idol, but she's a huge cunt who beats down other Selectors by being a catty bitch. Like the plastic girl she is she literally laughs at their wishes during the battles--all Selectors have a wish they want granted--and makes them feel like shit. When she got her comeuppance in which she got her face knifed, she literally goes insane over the fact her beauty's been tarnished to where she lost her idol career (she got downgraded to modeling since she could just plaster her face with make-up, but she hates being a model because she's an attention whore), and was willing to kiss up to the villain of the series just so she could get petty revenge, except since the very start of the series she actually wanted to ruin this villain's life, too, because they're both petty people acting petty to each other. They probably also hate-fuck, but I dunno, they have a messed up relationship.

But also because she's such a horrible person who literally wants people who wrongs her dead, horrible things happen to her the more her sanity slips to the point it's a relief when she just vanishes from reality in the recent series, even though I think the show was trying to play this off as a bad thing, but it's not (it's bad that it's happened to the other girls, but Akira deserved it). She was brought back along with everyone else at the end to get that "second chance" at life and is a nicer person apparently, but I don't give a shit about that, Akira's such a bitch that she got what was coming to her.

Jamie really doesn't seem to realize how much she's type-casted as these bitches who are just like her.

In a lot of her roles she affects a valley girl accent, bitchiness optional but usually included.

If she does a more normal voice she's not that bad.

She was fine as Melanie in Witchblade, but the character is kind of a dumbass, amnesia notwithstanding. Melanie's daughter literally does everything for her including rational decision making. Still bit of a pigeon-hole casting in that aspect.

Like a lot of other people involved in this, she has the mentality of a cornered rat. At this point it's pretty obvious that there are no secret testimonies or investigations that will do Vic in, the legal process will eventually catch up with Marchi and she knows it, so now she will do whatever it takes to get the most petty, short-term "victories" she can get, because that's all she has left. Even if that's just her spreading more lies on twitter and pretending they're gotchas. It's the same when they squeal about Ty being an incompetent grifter or Nick having no idea what he's talking about, it's not so much that they genuinely believe it but that they have to believe it to get through the day. It's basically a sedative against reality.

My guess is she genuinely believed Ron and funimation would cover her arse legally but since they really didn't think it would get this far when the lawsuit train actually started accelerating towards them at an alarming rate they quietly decided amongst themselves in a Legion of Dumb skype meeting to cut her loose. She's probably desperately messaging them right now saying
Marchi: "you still have my back guys? Right? You said if I accused him directly because you needed a smoking gun you'd help me out of any litigation. Guys?.
.Guys?!. . ."
Soye: "Yeah :) absolutely :) we'll swoop in and save you last minute, promise! :) just keep dodging the papers as long as you can so we can save all our funds, don't worry :) we've just gotta win our case first then we will focus all our efforts in making sure you aren't buried alive, honest! I think she might have been naive enough to believe that she, Monica, Ron and Funi are "all in this together" and all "on the same side". It may be slowly dawning on her that Ty isn't the only lawyer she has to worry about - she also needs to worry about how the lawyers for the other defendants will portray her when they're trying to minimise the damage to their own clients.
