You know, this might be one of the rare moments where I've seen Vic look visibly stiff/uncomfortable around a person in public. It was such an awkward moment. His smile was also forced and disappeared really fast, too.

I really hope we get some interesting discovery on her ... if she doesn't end up entering a default judgement due to profound stupidity. She definitely has some unresolved anger towards Vic.

Vic always knew Jamie was a crazy person from day 1, but he just rolled with the madness till it went full retard.
 
The best part about all of this shit is that her personality reminds me of those school bullies who are bitter as fuck once caught by school or parents and then punished severely. It fucking gives me so much sadistic joy to imagine her being red with anger at the deposition but can literally do nothing except take the reaming up her butthole again and again and again and has to keep on taking it until Amazon's feel her asshole is wide swollen enough.

She can by all means freak out at her deposition and get combative. It's not like there's a judge or bailiff around to haul her ass in for contempt. I've never acted a fool while being deposed so I cannot say what the consequences are, but I suspect the opposing counsel is going get your ass hauled in front of a judge to explain yourself if you flat out don't answer questions or storm out. Then you can choose buck up to a judge in their court at your own peril. Marchi already has a strike against her for dodging service. Refusing to cooperate with another step of the judicial process is a surefire way to get your feet held to the fire.

At the rate this is going, I think Jamie will still be dumb enough to try to dodge the default judgment.

I don't think she's planned this out that far in advance, but I do think that it could end up being an unintended advantage for her. (Unless FUNimation's deal with BHBH is actually "take your time, see what everyone else files, and then we'll talk settlement." If that's the case, then they get that advantage, and she's pretty fucked, along with the MoRons.)

I'm pretty sure her actual plan, though, is to just hide and hope that FUNimation/Sony wades into the fight with guns a-blazin'.

This is, plain and simple, an admission that she's being intentionally difficult to serve.

Ducking service is a waste of Vic's money and the court's time, and I'm sure that the court will appreciate that when considering whether to make her pay Vic back for the unnecessarily high cost of serving her.

That's the best part, even if she defaults, since she's a key witness to the goings on, she'd still have to be deposed. Maybe she thinks that if she just ignores everything and loses by default she won't need to give testimony against the others, and that Funi will bail her out, and she won't have to walk back any of her accusations.

I don't want her to settle because she would just walk away with the least amount of damage to her reputation. This could explain why she's so confident in her choice of stupid actions because she has already decided to settle ahead of time. I hope the Judge and Ty sees through this and comes up with something to wipe the stupid smile off her face.

You'd be correct. CPS was in the hip pocket of the evil assholes who wanted to turn her daughter into a science experiment for a demented old asshole who made himself a harem of female clones who doubled as Witchblade knockoffs and he was a creepy ass motherfucker who was trying to achieve immortality by using all the women he used as disposable (even though the methods were utterly insane and scientifically fruitless, even his own female clones realized he was just spinning his damn wheels and he got killed by one of them for this)

Gets mega creepy when you consider the creepy old asshole's backstory:

He was basically pissed his mom was a prostitute, got a really fucked up Madonna-Whore complex out of the whole thing, and so his messed up harem based on his DNA was an attempt to make a replacement mommy.

He also kidnapped girls of all ages and fucked with them as science experiments (and at points it was implied he LITERALLY fucked them) all to achieve this demented end.

Basically, Jamie's character had damn good reasons to not trust the CPS in her world.
