God that fishing channel has been a waste of time. I expected lots of footage of Jack sweating and cursing on a boat, fucking up his equipment, struggling with live fish, or at least gutting and badly-cooking what was caught. I don't know if the dude running it is his new gay lover or something but it's produced zero enjoyable entertainment.

he turned off his comments because 1. he's a bitch who can't handle at criticism and 2. he was clearly getting tired of all the "wait, i thought you were on keto" and "jack if you keep eating this way you'll suffer another stroke" comments. he pretty much mentioned reason #1 in his livestream when he said he turned them off to tune out the "haters" but obviously he's gonna lie about the second reason, hence the ridiculous underage comments crap

It is obvious he is lying since you can still comment on his old videos. If he was really worried about the underage comments he would take the time to turn them off as well. It's not like he has anything better to do with his time.

While it would be fun to see Jack try to go on a real fishing trip with Charles, it would only be fun once. Jack would probably never want to do it again. And I can't remember more than a small handful of CWJ episodes cooking fish at all. That, coupled with his 1 remaining hand, means we will never see him gut a fish.

But to say that there has been nothing enjoyable on Fish Hook? Charles only or Charles + wife episodes have been fine. In contrast to the 'professional' Jack, Charles actually makes good videos.

I guess I've seen too much fishing content for it to stand out, I had assumed (or hoped) that Jack saw some of the other channels numbers, got dollar signs behind his glasses and was going to LARP outdoorsman.

oh man, the infamous canning video. someone could have easily come down with botulism from using his friend's incorrect method

his poutine videos are both hilariously bad. i think he used cheddar cheese curds in the first video and then in the "redo" video he uses some sort of shredded cheese

If it means defeating the entire point of the recipe, I think using frozen, pre-cooked meat in a chili entered into a competition is pretty impressive. That's something you do in a pinch, not whine about not winning a community contest with.

His yorkshire pudding video is amazing in that he didn't even Google what they were supposed to look like, and was surprised at how horrified his comments were by it. They were basically the opposite of what a yorkshire pudding is supposed to be like, both visually, texturally and how it is consumed, ending up somewhat like hockey puck pancakes.

yeah i was really hoping there'd be footage of jack attempting to fish with his one functioning arm. but we all know jack couldn't care less about fishing
