I haven't gotten through the whole thread yet, but I'm inclined to say that this might be the case, or specifically, he's trying to return it.

I doubt it. Chances are the police confiscated it as evidence.

But having said that, we also know Chris (if this was indeed him) explicitly said he had pepper spray and threatened to use it (probably because he was already banned and staff tried to eject him again). The best explanation I can come up with for this are that either he's procured more since last week, or more likely, he had more at home.

I think that the Dec. 26 arrest wasn't about Sonic at all, he really just wanted to get the Skyraider's thingy. Also - he seems to have a real problem with being banned from anything (school, Game Place, Gamestop etc, etc), especially after he honestly apologizes in writing.

That said - I have this nagging suspicion that this latest shenanigan was somehow triggered by the move and "Charlie Horses" and just having to deal with post-arrest, Barb blowback. He does seem to overreact to the most immediate issues.

Here's what he doesn't get: Apologies only work if you're genuinely remorseful about it. There's an entire article on the Cwcki about that, but here's the long and short of it: Chris only apologizes either to get people off of his back or because he wants something.

Unfortunately, he gives in to a lot of tard rage from the get-go and it could be months or years before he says he's 'sorry', which makes people even more resistant towards forgiving him.

I've yet to read a honest apology from Chris. He writes to places because he simply wants to go back and do the crap that got him banned in the first place.

We don't know how much pepper spray Chris has in possession.
I'm going to guess its more than just the one. If nothing else I can't imagine even the cheap ones are easy to reload, and given a choice between cheap but 'difficult' or easy and expensive, Chris will take the path of least resistance every time
Hey man, don't be so down on yourself. You read a book! That clearly qualifies you to overturn a diagnosis by a medical professional!
Autism is just the tip of the iceberg as far as Chris's mental problems are concerned, but it is definitely a factor

Chris is incapable of an honest apology, you need to be able to admit you are wrong to do that and Chris's ego is far too large at this point for him to ever admit that. Plus he has this weird hangup about hand written anything, like it's somehow mystically more honest and heartfelt or something
You seem unaware that Chris' original diagnosis of "high-functioning autism" no longer exists.
So if Chris got diagnosed today what would the psychologist came back with? I'd laugh my ass off if it turns out he got diagnosed with Aspergers

One of my theories is that Chris may have gotten his pepper spray from the hardware department (since you can also find outdoorsy stuff in this area, which can include pepper spray) and was getting angry because they didn't give him a brief talk about how and when to properly use pepper spray. After all, it's their fault that he has it and he was sent out with no knowledge that you can't spray it in every scenario. This doesn't really fit in with the police scanner stuff, though, so I doubt it's this.

Odds are that he was in either the electronics section vandalizing Sonic stuff or he was in the toy section (which is also usually close to the hardware section) doing the same. Or both. I can see Chris vandalizing a toy section as well, if the store were to carry Sonic Boom crap.

Maybe his eval will actually happen this time and he's put in a ward instead.

He's already had an evaluation. He has mild autism, not paranoid schizophrenia or any other kind of debilitating psychosis where he doesn't know right from wrong or is compelled to harm himself or others. I cannot stress this enough: it is EXTREMELY difficult to be labeled psychologically incompetent and be hospitalized against your will. There are plenty of people with similar psychological and emotional impairments as Chris who are in jail and prison. Often times they are given lighter punishment for their crimes, but eventually the criminal justice system sees that they are repeat offenders and stop slapping them on the wrist. Chris knows right from wrong, he's just arrogant and egotistical and believes the rules don't apply to him. That has little to nothing to do with his Autism and has everything to do with how he was raised.

It's weird when you watch the "Chris out on the town" videos and all you see is him driving around, naming various stores he visits (which he later, gets banned from). His world is very small and getting increasingly smaller. Sometimes, when I drink enough, I imagine that somewhere out there, there is a person with Chris' mindset in Afghanistan or Liberia and it really, really freaks me out. You never hear of the misadventures of autistics in these countries.

I'd imagine autistic antics are the least of an Afghan or Liberian's worries.

People like Chris could only happen in countries with decent life levels, in places like Liberia or Afganistan achild with Chris mindset has only on option, wich is grow up as fast as he can so he can endure life in war and poverty

Alright, I'm gonna put on my 'Father is a lawyer' cap and bring up a point. I'm sorry if this point has been brought up before, there's a lot of stuff to go over:

So I remember a story where my father was prosecuting a person who'd been picked up by an undercover cop for solicitation, and she got out on bail. Part of the terms of their bail was that they not return to the area where they were picked up (unless it was an emergency) and obviously they not get picked up again.

Lo and behold, this person was picked up by a different undercover cop 2 days later, in the same area, for the same thing. So they wind up in jail again, but the city elects to essentially drop the charges on solicitation (it's more complicated than that but whatever) and just throw them in jail for violating the terms of their bail. Now admittedly this person was supposedly a royal pain and everyone wanted them out of their hair, but if they've got a lot of stuff to deal with, they'll often pull stuff like this and get them on something quick and easy to prosecute.

How does this relate to Chris, I hear you cry? Well if he indeed did return to somewhere he was banned and threaten someone with pepper spray, then it's 100 percent possible that they might just toss him in jail on violating bail, just to get him out of their hair and off the streets.

Or it could be the world's most devoted ween.

I'm sorry I just have to know what Barb is thinking right now. Is she too dense to understand the autistic pinball she's unleashed and the pain in the ass it's causing

At this point in Barb's life (as well as in Chris' history of getting trolled), I somewhat feel it's just like the parent of a kid who constantly gets in trouble in school, she just kinda sighs a resigned sigh and goes "Oy....what did he do *now*?"

If Chris is back in the pokey, Barb's in big trouble. No more Chris to lug crap back to 14BLC, no more Chris to bring home q-sands, no more Chris for company.

That's because they generally don't last very long in those countries >_>
Or their families lock them up in their basement or something.

I mean , could you imagine someone like Chris in Baghdad? He would get shot within 5 minutes.
