What I've learned is that, for whatever reason, English-dubbed anime VAs have this hang-up about "being better." They think their personal beliefs are superior, they way that they vote (and who they vote for) is better, that they assume that the people who watch them should share their values. D.C. Douglas, this... stupid motherfucker, took a selfie of himself in a public uni-sex restroom because, what..., he thinks the people telling Monica and Soye to fuck off with their lies and slander are somehow scared of trannies? Is that the "inside" joke? Is he that "woke" and high-brow?
Here's the conclusion I've reached, based on the evidence above: voicing Japanese cartoons in English causes mental illness. It's the only thing that makes sense with these people. For some bizarre reason, either Vic is A: immune to the process, or B (more likely): he realizes that it's just a job and goes about the motions that a normal dude in his position does: keeps his fans happy, makes money and gets ass when he can.
