Interesting because that stream with flash and AO was what introduced me to this mess in full as well. I got passing mention on it when Geeks and Gamers and EVS started raging about Pensacon and then that stream happened shortly thereafter. It has been mentioned before that early on Vic had assumed he was up shit creek without a paddle and nowhere to turn too as this went down. I blew that off as hyperbolic statements of art though. Turns out it may very well have been an accurate description.

The problem for these people is that they think the fact they've been saying Vic is a predator for years somehow offsets their own questionable credibility. Anyone whose ever been to a con has had to deal with these uber liberal types who instinctively want to label people as villains with little to no evidence, or stroke their egos at panels were VAs will tell them their brave for being different.
