I wonder if Phil is going to complain/joke that he has to "work" on Memorial Day?

Edit so no double post:
What I find really fascinating about Phil is how dripping in subtext everything he says is. He doesn't say much that isn't some form of lowkey begging or emotional manipulation towards tips, and/or gaslighting. And at the same time everything he says has a level of Freudian slip where he's letting out kernels of the truth that expose him.

The fact that he has split his pre stream into "segments" at this point really says it all. He has to talk about whatever boring shit has happened in his sad eventless life since yesterday evening (which is usually nothing), give out about YT ad revenue and detractors, beg for money and plug the pay cucks. These are all referred to as different segments now. It's getting harder and harder to watch this garbage, even ironically.

The fucking state of his stream.

Lmao does he really expect to be given thousands of dollars for his fundraiser for "secret behind-the-scenes issues"?

I had this random thought yesterday while reviewing on his meltdown. "If the trolls never slandered me I would have probably evolved into the modern LPer with my face on the thumbnail and highly edited content" But let's take a look at who I call DSP's opposite. Vinny Vinesauce. Vinny much like DSP streams like 7 days a week. NONE of his content his edited it's just stream VODs. Hes horrifically bad at every game he plays. But he's still one of the most popular streamers out there today. So DSP's if I wasn't slandered I still would have been forced to become the generic pink haired face thumbnail shill that Youtube wanted has been BTFO by Vinny's success.

True, but they seem to love to "step up" whenever we're laughing about how low his "interactions" are, as if they're specifically trying to anger us cause they're terrified of the detractors winning.

I'm going to bring up my conspiracy theory again, but I really do feel Twitch does keep phil around as an "example" to be used when they are accused of banning someone unfairly. Much in the same way twitter and you tube keep blatant racists and misogynists on their platforms to point to whenever they get in trouble for de-monetizing and de-platforming.

So if they ever get called out, they just point to their "example" and go: "see? we don't just ban everyone for crossing the line so there, we do it on a case by case basis, so your ban sticks."

It also has another effect of people seeing DSP stream and going: "Hey, I can do that, and NOT be such a dick!" Despite DSPs cries to the contrary that it's "Hard Work", I feel he's still a good promoter and advertiser for the regular person. Which leads me to believe his "I'm the average gamer" shtick was something he was told by the twitch staff that handles him.

I do find it hard to swallow the theory on him avoiding bans due to deleting his streams or does twitch really not archive anything that is deleted by the streamers to... save money I guess?

I swear to white jesus, sometimes I think he truly believes that trolls literally took over his controller for him and made him play terribly and then took over his head and made him deliver awful commentary in that grating, snorting delivery method.

I don't think anyone high up enough at Twitch to make such a call knows or cares about Phil. People call for Phil to be permabanned constantly and 99% of the time if he was I would have to call bullshit. I get other streamers have been banned for the smallest things, and that's bullshit too, but some people getting screwed while others fall through the cracks is something that happens all the time.

The theory that whoever checks Twitch partner reports/complaints knows zero backstory of Phil's 10 year legacy, gets reports over every minor issue, and either doesn't think the complaint warrents a punishment or are just sick and tired of seeing them gets my vote.
