Without the horrible makeup (seriously WTF is going on with those eyebrows?) this seems like a great costume for Halloween, costume party or theater performance. Looks fun, colorful and comfortable (assuming that fabrics aren’t icky materials). Attention catching but none-pervy. Sure it’s LGBTQ+ virtue signaling but I can easily see a child completely on their own want to wear a rainbow. Kids either don’t care or just parrot what their parents say about gueer issues and many kids (especially for girls) products and entertainment have rainbows so rainbows aren’t automatically gay to them. Desmond looks miserable. He isn’t smiling and his shoulders are lumping. He looks so uncomfortable and doesn’t seem to be confident. How he is posing and carrying himself doesn’t look like somebody who is having fun taking pictures in silly costume but somebody who is forsed to take “a nice picture for granny”. Oh that's long since happened. Normal gays don't even go to pride anymore because they aren't really welcome. Lesbian groups even got physically attacked at a few pride parades last year IIRC.

Ever since I began going to pride parades in the mid 2000's it's been that way. I remember seeing a group of bears whipping twinks in the streets as they marched, and one of the bears only had a sock over his dick and a pride flag inserted into his asshole strolling down the avenue. During the recession/depression many major brands pulled out of sponsoring/having a float in the parade siting that has their reasoning but I think it had more to do with not wanting to be associated with shameless, disgusting fetishes during a time when it would cost them more to be associated it, the virtue signalling market has changed that now.

I always liked watching the results for pride parades because everyone involved just starts cannibalizing each other. There was an online fight last year between asexuals and gays because gays were daring to kiss and hold hands and the asexuals were super pissed about it. There was also a clash between gay muslims and gay jews too, as both sides were reporting each other's flags as problematic and anti-islam/semitism. It's just amazing. It's like taking a bunch of different ant species, putting them into a jar, and shaking it enough to piss them all off.
Also Wendy, it really, really isn't a good look to keep bragging about getting investigated all the time from CPS. Even just getting them called on you is enough to bring a lot of shame and get people shunned from their communities. What it's saying for her is that 'People are so alarmed by how we treat our son that we keep getting investigated but fuck you all CPS says nothing is wrong with exploiting our child'.
CPS is a corrupt organization anyway (ESPECIALLY ones in big cities like NYC) and at this time expecting them to do anything about it is like waiting for fish to sprout wings and fly.

Yeah same, I moved from the sticks to the big city and learned that gays are mild mannered monogamous good guy citizens, as good as and quite possibly better than anyone else. That their marriages would be no different than normal marriage, and that they would be perfectly competent parents, maybe even more caring than those careless straights who get pregnant by way of reckless boning instead of paying lawyers and gestators and whatever. Then I moved in with a gay dude roommate for a year. Holy shit, was that an education. Not just him but every single one of his friends, acquaintances, exes, and a cast of thousands. A lot of them would talk about having a "life partner" but the guy was only around for like four months, they shared a third boyfriend, and still fucked around with randoms. The amount of nasty sex gear, and how it was just left out in like a communal bathroom or for fuck's sake, kitchen. The sick, deranged comments about like, the junior high school boys waiting for the bus across the street, every male over the age of about 8 who walked by in a 200 foot radius, etc. The CONSTANT comments that if they came from a straight guy would make him a social pariah for the sheer rapiness and sexual harassment. The groping of men and women alike. The inability to keep the libido and id zipped up even for a one hour visit with family. The creepy, gross fetishes overshared constantly. What has been seen cannot be unseen.
