Wonder if the creator of this show would be cool with a Woke western-licensing company doing this to his baby... Especially since it shits on the very fans of the genre who would be watching.

The most recent egregious examples I can think of are Prison School, Dragon Maid, Girlfriend Is A Gal, and a single line in Interviews With Monster Girls.

In Prison School, the actual GamerGate line was from Tyson Rhinehart, though Jamie Marchi was head writer.

In Dragon Maid, it was all her.

In Gal, she was the main character, and though she could have had some influence over the writing, it was officially written by Joel Bergen.

The Monster Girls line was from Kristen McGuire. I give her a pass because she was probably traumatized by Shane. (and I like her scripts.)

Not aware of any other major example.

This was bound to crash and burn sooner or later even WITHOUT this shitstorm with Vic, as someone would relay to Japan about these weird-ass edits, god knows enough anime geeks what both the original and the dubs.

I wonder if now that she's openly admitted "Hey, i'm trolling you. I got my papers." If the ISWV spergs will stop, or if this balls got too much momentum. I like the guys who are poking her too get a reaction or to mock her, but all the ones with the angry justice shit are annoying to read.

That would be because she is. She (along with a buddy in the writing team) is responsible for shoving references to shit like GG and Trump with a crowbar into various shows. The Dragon Maid one is probably the best example.

There's different qualities of dubs. There's ones where the sub is the definitive version, ones where the sub is just better, ones where you can take it or leave it, ones where the dub is better, and ones where the dub is overwhelmingly superior. Ones in that last category are extremely rare, but be assured: They exist.
