Sorry, I don't have the time to educate you, but I encourage you to read history.
In other words: no, you can't go into detail.
A shame, you seemed smarter than @Holden.

In a moral society, people would have their basic needs met and that includes sex.
Shelter is generally considered a need even if one wouldn't die by living in the street. The idea of a need isn't something needed to survive but rather needed for a minimally tolerable life.Sex is not a need. A need implies it's necessary for survival. Sex is a want. Sex is a necessity to the species. It's not a necessity to individual survival. I haven't had sex in 15 months and I'm fine with it. I don't advocate raping women just because no one but me has touched my dick in over a year. Why is that a bad thing? Why am I not campaigning for the right to assault and rape women?
The focus of Old Testament is ethics. The focus of the New Testament is faith and miracles. I lack faith and don't believe in miracles, but I support ethics.
Monogamy provides most people with sex.How would that work though?
The focus of the New Testament is faith and miracles.
I don't know what you are referring to. This thread is very active and I may have missed some posts.

I have read it. Of all the books, Matthew and James are most focused on ethics. Everything by Paul is pretty much obsessed with faith. Then you haven't read the New Testament. You may have skimmed through Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John (the only books that can be even loosely described as about "faith and miracles") but you sure as hell haven't read it.
and Buddhist monks, don't forget those guys.Catholic priest all go without sex. Would you say that they do not have a minimally tolerable life?
This is a difficult question. I think it is important to have rules, to discuss ethics and stories about ethics. It is important to keep rituals as moral exercises. And tribal loyalty is important. That is a very short answer, but I discuss religion at length here:What OT ethics do you find most important, and which ones do you think are missing in the modern world?
Do you only need a big hug? I'm good those. This is a difficult question. I think it is important to have rules, to discuss ethics and stories about ethics. *drop eyeglasses*The one and only @fschmidt has graced us here with his presence.
Religious people, like monks, often give up things that most people would expect in a minimally tolerable life. I feel sorry for Catholic priests and the celibacy requirement has caused a lot of trouble in Catholicism because priests have such a hard time keeping it.Catholic priest all go without sex. Would you say that they do not have a minimally tolerable life?
As I said, I don't know him personally.your "friend" marjan, he refers to himself as @Holden here. do you think he a suitable for dating your daughter?
But do you want a warm, snuggly hug?As I said, I don't know him personally.
