I don't give a damn about the comic, that's a load of bologna to me. I used to admire PK's old art and now I want to make sure she and Eevee are driven into hiding for being a danger to minors (allowing Marl to attempt grooming, making rule 34 of under 18 characters, saying IRL child porn shouldn't be illegal, attempting to expose porn to minors, and maybe more things).

Besides the fact it's turned into a trainwreck, Glip is like if Shmorky or a similar sex pest didn't try to rebrand after their career was destroyed by their own hand but instead quadrupled down. At least Shmorky had the sense to get off the internet for good and when his new account was found he had rebranded. Glip on the other hand continued to quadruple down on how everything bad that comes out against her and her boytoy is the work of a 5 year long trolling operation.

Her PurpleKecleon era art had a big following on DeviantArt, and Floraverse pandered to the Tumblr crowd a bit. She's had a dramatic fall from grace, and that's what brings people to this thread. Just about any Pokemon fan from that era knew of something Eevee and Glip did, from running the veekun pokedex to making fake Pokemon leaks for internet fame. Now they've gone from big in that scene to bitching online about the trolls.

It's a pretty obscure part of Glip lore (that's buried many pages back), but her ability to pull this off makes sense if you consider what the Pokemon community was like in that timeframe. Before Nintendo brought the hammer down on Pokemon fansites after a very high profile Pokemon leak (and the leak posting switched to /vp/), Pokemon fansites were known for posting leaks from people photographing CoroCoro magazines before their official date, which is where new game info would be published.

After leaks got out that Nintendo had trademarked Sky Forme or something like that PurpleKecleon decided to make a fake Pokemon, overlaid Japanese text on it, and photographed it in the style of those magazine leaks. A day later she admitted it was "just a prank bro" on DeviantArt, and this got her a mention on Bulbagarden's fake Pokemon page.

Eventually the fake leak was forgotten about for the most part, and PurpleKecleon became a huge Pokemon fanartist online.

Eevee's voice combined with how he usually speaks makes him one of the most punchable people in existence.

That's possible, but I at least thought this outburst was interesting. Eevee was an insufferable ass the whole stream and this was the loudest Glip got for the whole stream I do think she was at least partly annoyed but also I hadn't seen anyone post that they're playing spyro or that Glip has a twitch so I thought I might as well bring it up

Spoiler: On another note insignificant trivia from stuff discussed in the stream:

-Glip used to be an avid spyro fan and played the games 100%
-at one point eevee brought up that all the dragons are male and then glip was bummed out about that (because of course) then eevee playfully suggests spyro lives in a society of gay dragons and glip goes quiet; I thought this was pretty funny considering the talk about how she hates those darn gay men lol

She was definitely annoyed, but her tone quickly shifted to playful by the end.
It's not unusual for couples to banter like that, and I'd be more suspicious that something was up if they never publicly argued, because then to me that would imply they're at each other's throats off camera.

I think the more fascinating part is their voices in this. Eevee has that weird troon voice that might have been a nerdy or alright voice before and it goes hand in hand with that recent selfie:


Glip's voice is more conventional/normal, but her vocal mannerisms are a bit screechy/valley girlish.

It's not really yelling though. If anything their stream really isn't that entertaining. It's just sorta "meh", like I've seen tons of other mediocre Twitch streams just like it. Like I mentioned earlier, their poor reputation is going to harm any growth as well.
