I have taken it upon myself to do research on #IStandWithVic as a term.
Here is the
History of #IStandWithVic:
1. #IStandWithVic first appeared on Twitter September 20, 2012 by user VibraniumShield
@1stAvengerACM (
https://archive.fo/u8wbY). The user used it in support of Victor Bermudez, Executive Producer of the University of Miami Hurricanes Radio on Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM, Producer for Telemundo Sport’s program “Boxeo Telemundo,” co-host of the “Out for the Count” Boxing and MMA Podcast on the Five Reasons Sports Network. Why? Twitter argument by users about the Miami Hurricanes. Victor Bermudez then quoted WQAM Programming Coordinator Danny Rabinowitz, who also voiced verbal support using #IStandWithVic.
The hashtag was last used by Rabinowitz on April 12, 2014 (
https://archive.fo/S7JrV).
2. The hashtag was then appropriated by an Orthodontist at Saddle Creek Orthodontics and Co-Founder at Neon Canvas Dr. Kyle Fagala
@MemphisBraces on August 13, 2015 in conversation with some rando named rob wades @BestBurgerEver in support of Vic Berger IV @VicBergerIV (
https://archive.fo/Aiijf). Berger trolled Jeb Bush in the 2016 election and has a KnowYourMeme page dedicated to him:

3. Republican Oregon State Representative of House District 25, Bill Post, then used the hashtag on November 1, 2016 in a
tweet responding Progressive Twitter page Blue Oregon (
https://archive.fo/xUfdv). Post in support of Representative Vic Gilliam of House District 18 (perhaps out of mockery), where Blue Oregon questioned if the campaign was a “bait and switch” with Mike Early:

4. Phil Braun
@playazball used the hashtag on December 21, 2016 (
https://archive.fo/tqR6n) in support of Vic Berger IV and linked a
Pizzagate article from The Intelligencer against Mike Cernovich (
https://archive.fo/4xtDm). Braun is part of an online comedy group called the Playaz:

5. On April 3, 2017, user Marty Alvarez
@martyalva21 used the hashtag in a response of support toward Vic “The Brick” Jacobs @vicfeelingyou (
https://archive.fo/O12gA). Jacobs is an American radio and television sportscaster. He is best known as a former co-host of The Loose Cannons, a sports radio talk airing nationally on Fox Sports Radio. The Los Angeles Dodgers fanatic apparently battled cancer recently:

6. Once again, the hashtag was used in reference to Vic Berger IV as musician
Stounson offered his support on May 31, 2017 (
https://archive.fo/ARYYR). Apparently, Stounson sells his single on Amazon:

7. User les garcia
@Beserkgatts used the hashtag on December 12, 2017 in support of Victor Oladipo, a basketball player for the Indiana Pacers, dating actress Bria Myles (
https://archive.fo/M5b2P). Apparently, rumors circulated that they were dating at the time.
8. User Liset
@Krzwyf used the hashtag on February 16, 2018 (
https://archive.fo/eNQtz) in support of Alberta politician and real estate agent Vic L. McConought:
https://www.vic4alberta.ca/ (
https://archive.fo/Tk96Z). McConought used a damp memes reference in a
response to Associate Professor Trevor Tombe of the Economics Department at the University of Calgary (
https://archive.fo/Gkuau).
9) On April 5, 2018, B101.5 traffic reporter Robert Workman
@RWcopter used the hashtag in support of CBS & FOX WTOL11 Traffic Anchor & Journalist Victoria Idoni. (
https://archive.fo/G4p6P). Apparently, Idoni lost her blue checkmark (very pathetic). Workman interview:

10. User Tonito
@tfophotos used the hashtag on October 16, 2018 in support of hip-hop artist Vic Mensa (
https://archive.fo/JJqNP). Apparently, Mensa dissed the late XXXTentacion during his BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher.
11. On November 28, 2018, user Timothy Huyer
@tim4hire used the hashtag in support of Vic L. McConought while responding to Duke University’s Ryan Calder about health care. (
https://archive.fo/kP2kO). Here is Calder’s profile:

12.
Finally, the first instance of the hashtag in reference to Vic Mignogna (or at least as far as I can find) came from BioZero216
@BioZero216 on January 18, 2019 (
https://archive.fo/EpyTB).
Honestly, this hashtag gets picked up and dropped like a professional wrestling championship belt.
