Carlos Maza / @gaywonk versus Steven Blake Crowder / @scrowder (#VoxAdpocalypse) - Twitter war between a Canadian in nationality and a Canadian in behavior

Carlos reminds me of one of the Roman historians writing about one of the more degenerate Roman emperors who had a bunch of androgynous hangers on he used to have orgies with. After he died the new emperor decided to do a bit of house cleaning. All the hangers on were sent to work building roads somewhere remote.

The clear implication being that they deserved it. You could just hear the historian saying whatever the Latin version of 'THAS WHAT YEW GIT FAGGIT, THAS WHAT YEW GIT' as he recounted the story.

Deranged balding acid-faced tranny Edward Emily Gorcenski calls for Crowder's death. Fun to see he already has a thread here on KF. They are one of those hyperactive mentally ill Twitter users who just cannot help making themselves look crazy at all times. I love this guy. He's got at least one other threat of violence on his main Twitter right now, and it seems from the KF thread he has a history of threatening others with physical harm. He epitomizes Caucasian Carlos Maga's base: lunatic activists who are literally crippled by mental illness. I love this guy.

I think the most troubling thing to take away from this whole situation isn't the fact that Carlos Maza has actually managed to get through another wave of censorship on youtube, but the fact that Youtube has been complicit in taking advantage of the situation to further tighten the reigns of censorship on its platform, by either eliminating channels or discouraging content creators by demonetizing the platform for them. (Not that it was profitable to begin with since the 1st adpocalypse.)

Why do I say Youtube is complicit?

Because when you look at who Carlos Maza is, he is a nobody. He's a second tier clickbait journo who produces propaganda pieces for Vox. He's not a luminary in the gay community. He's not even a well known activist for the left outside of being a progressive talking head for Vox. He's essentially a nobody that without Vox backing him as a media platform realistically doesn't actually have a core audience.

So there is the crux of the argument right there. The only reason that Youtube has taken anything that Maza has taken seriously is because of his backing by Vox, which is a big corporate media entity with ties to old media.

Something that Youtube is desperately trying to attract business from at the moment, because it somehow thinks that killing cable by becoming cable is somehow going to be an effective business model, despite the fact that no one I know aside from the most normal of normies watches corporate shit on youtube, they watch it for content creators.

Now the issue is with these media companies, is that they seem to have this bigger sway over what can and cannot happen on their preferred platforms, and lets face it ideologically the company of Youtube is progressive left leaning, as are many other tech and media firms, which have decided that they need to start self policing their platforms to remove anything that will be considered "problematic."

The issue with that being is that they're approaching it from a position of what they the board, the culture, and their partners find problematic, which means anyone who has some form of independent commentary that isn't in alignment with their ideas will get censored, and they can do this because there isn't anything in terms of alternative platforms that can challenge them at this point.

There has always been an element of censorship that has basically come in waves and changes with the culture, but we're at a point with the internet that realistically I'm not sure if there is anything other than major political and legal litigation that comes in to self correct the problem now, or heaven forbid actually enshrine certain standards for good or ill. Naturally I'd like to think that the internet, and especially the early internet was a place where it was free from the formal shackles of censorship that defined all other media of it's period, but as with all good things there is always some group of people, moral busy bodies, authoritarians, or an alliance of such that decide what is good for people, rather than letting themselves decide.

Youtube and all the other media platforms that aren't pro free speech are trying to see a return to gatekeepers, and while it won't be a dark day when they do finally pull the plug and clamp down, it will just mean that the wait will continue until the next new thing comes along and supercedes the old internet, and the old media, and these old tech conglomerates.

I'd also like to state that I consider the demonetization unfair, in the fact that while I'd wished that the company had never enabled advertisements in the first place, it's not just to bring in smaller companies, and smaller creators on a free platform and slowly constrict it once an audience has been built up over time, and people have converted to watching youtube over traditional TV.

That along with the removal of any channels, aside from them most egregious, is wrong, and it shouldn't be supported or tolerated. Even the creators I dislike, or do not agree with many of their view points shouldn't be removed, because it undermines the value of the free exchange of ideas, and ultimately stifles any new voices or opinions that aren't considered to tow the line.

Again people will argue that it's a private enterprise, which is fine, but lets face it there is more than enough evidence now with the algorithm changes and other "peculiarities" that have gone on to throttle home grown user content, traffic and ad revenue, that Youtube is actively favoring particular creators (old media) and therefor is curating (editorializing) content, rather than allowing a free market of ideas.

It can't be held to be a neutral distribution platform any longer, and as much as I hate the idea of getting government involvement in, because it's a two edged sword, there will come a point that youtube will sanitize the platform completely and force the non-kosher youtubers onto reservations where they lose access to new potential audiences, or there is some sort of legal proceeding that manages to put the screws to the social media companies.

Apologies for the rant, but I think if you actively want someone to blame in this situation, it's not the stooge that is Carlos Massa, it's Vox, their parent company, and Youtube/Google.

imagine being such a deranged tranny faggot you think descriptive words are the same thing as verbs. Edward Gorcenski is an evil person with evil goals.

At this point I just want YouTube to go scorched Earth and demonitize everyone vaguely political or controversial who has under 1,000,000 subs. That's the only way fags like Carlos will face the consequences of their actions, even if they won't realize it's their fault.

A couple liberals who make content about extremists are already being demonitized, which is a good start, but I want to see every video even mentioning Nazis or white supremacy, even if it's denouncing them or talking about World War II, to not be able to make money.

We're in a bad place when people are calling for censorship to be applied "fairly" across the board.

I think everyone can agree that if there were to be one single limitation on online speech it would be on calling for an individual by name to be killed.

No. Not even that.

Don't give them the thin edge of the wedge. Because eventually they'll twist all speech less than positive as a "call for violence" or something. In much the same way that now literally everything somehow relates to interstate commerce and grants the imperial federal government power over the states.

Also, this hideous parody of femininity should kill itself.

This is cute, seeing as the people who've needed protection to have a political debate have all been conservatives for the last few years. Besides, if you need a corporation to "protect" your opinion, your opinion isn't fucking upsetting anyone faggot, it's fucking corporate approved. Faggot ass "Marxist" hiding under mommy capitalism's skirt like the rest.

This is all so predictable. Youtube/Google just needed an excuse to go even deeper with the censorship. These blogger nobodies are just there to get the blame.

Of course it is still sad how these spineless idiots can terrorize people online.

And people who still have their dumb bone and just moan about muh private business. The megacorps you guys worship keep raping you, they openly hate you and you conseratives still just are happy that the dick in you ass is a private one not a publicly funded one.

This situation is spiralling out of control and it is so one sided that nobody wants to de-escalate this.

I am not mad, just disappointed how anything I like on the internet will be crushed by forces beyond my control.

ADL Statement on YouTube Policy Changes to Reduce Extremist Content

New York, NY, June 5, 2019 … ADL (Anti-Defamation League) issued the following statement regarding YouTube’s policy changes, announced today, to reduce extremist content, including white supremacy, conspiracy theories and Holocaust denialism:
"Online hate and extremism pose a significant threat -- weaponizing bigotry against marginalized communities, silencing voices through intimidation and acting as recruiting tools for hateful, fringe groups,” said Jonathan Greenblatt, ADL CEO and National Director. “That’s why ADL has been working with technology companies, including YouTube, to aggressively counter hate on their platforms. We were glad to share our expertise on this and look forward to continuing to provide input. While this is an important step forward, this move alone is insufficient and must be followed by many more changes from YouTube and other tech companies to adequately counter the scourge of online hate and extremism."

A recent ADL survey found that 37 percent of Americans experienced severe online hate and harassment in 2018, including sexual harassment, stalking, physical threats or sustained harassment. Seventeen percent of all users experienced hate and harassment on YouTube specifically.

Building on ADL’s century of experience building a world without hate, the Center for Technology and Society (CTS) serves as a resource to tech platforms and develops proactive solutions to fight hate both online and offline. CTS works at the intersection of technology and civil rights through education, research and advocacy.

I wonder if other entities might have had a larger effect than Half-white Carlos Maza.

Consider the fact that that YouTube does not turn a profit in any conceivable way and any sort of perceived backlash against them may get advertisers to pull out.
Yes, they will go for any excuse to tighten rules in an attempt to improve their standing with oblivious advertisers.

so when are they gonna fuck

you say this as if YouTube isn't just an information sink that Google uses.
I mean you can't tax information you don't technically sell after all

The biggest problem with this shit isn't that Youtube was simply looking for a way to censor more people, if that was the case, they wouldn't have said that Crowder's content didn't violate any policies in the first place, and rather would have gone straight to ass-fucking everyone right away.

It took the dick slobbering mouth of Maza to spew his bullshit and REEEEEE even more to get Youtube to say, alright fine, everyone take this dick up their ass cause the faggot said so.

With a promo code, I can sign up for Crowder's "Mug Club" for 30 bucks off for the year.

You know what? That's REALLY tempting now. I'm not really a fan of Crowder's brand of humor (particularly his skits-- Except for his Young Turks skits, lol), but I do like how he conducts interviews and debates, at least. I know my Dad really likes him, so maybe I could just sign up for him as a Father's Day gift and as a big ol' "Fuck you" to everyone else.
.
Louder with Crowder consists of him making unfunny jokes and his employees laughing at them because they have to.

If you have at least *some* social intelligence you can spot their fake laughter from a mile away

And no one wants to tell Crowder that he is unfunny since they'll get fired

Crowder if you read this: Screaming inside a microphone for 2 minutes straight and making annoying voices doesn't make you funny

His 'Change my Mind' episodes are okay.

But he's debating room temperature IQ people and/or college students and they just repeat what their profs are saying.
