StyxHexenhammer666 / Tarl Warwick - Oddball Occultist Neckbeard (who can make some interesting content)

These 'vacations' never last and he always makes more content than he says he will.

People are petitioning for a self-proclaimed "workaholic" to get a job, such irony.

Could you imagine Tarl as anyone's manager.

(Spoon in cup clinks.) Well alright everyone..... (Sips coffee.) Today we're going to be talking about the annual fiscal reports for company section b, and how the performance of the company is going to have an effect on the voter turn outs on the dems in the 2020 elections, if we meet out sales margins....... (20 minutes of subsequent different topic meetings later.) That concludes everything for today........ Peace out........ (Spoon in cup clinking.)

The vacation is in full swing and Styx might not make videos today.

Oh shit looks like we're back to ten minute videos. Viva vacation!

Sorry for the double post on this one.

I am catching up on the last couple days of Styx videos and I'm wondering if you guys see what I see. Does it look like Tarl is gaining weight? He seems a little thicker than he used to. Not knocking him, what girl doesn't like some thicc Styx?

I don't think so, his face shape looks different when he has facial hair. I do like him with facial hair, though. It suits him.

Can someone explain the Fallout 4 "Minutemen" flag in the background of all the videos? Does he actually like the most milquetoast vanilla faction in Fallout 4? Was it some free merch that somebody sent him?

He's used that flag for a long time and I'm not sure he's ever addressed it. He used the SPQR flag for a long time too.

He made fun of Tucker Carlson for having "hair plugs and capped teeth" but he's made fun of lots of people for having nice teeth in the past. He gets a lot of hate comments about his teeth which sucks, but it also sucks to be a jerk about people wanting to have nice teeth.

Satan's blessings be upon this humongous mistake.

Gotta assume this is the same person that caused a month of madness where Tarl dyed his hair, shaved, and generally acted like a fagalone.

Should work out. I wonder if she'll get her own shelf in the fridge or if Mom and Dad are going to be hardasses about it.

It had better be Elisabeth's Philosophy or I'm going to lose the office pool.

The teeth thing is him being proud of what he considers his "white-trash" (in his own words) background/upbringing. He's infatuated with the idea of living in the boonies and being lower class.

You mean Tarl is infatuated with the idea of having a few dozen miles of insulation between yourself and the crazed, social-media addled masses? And at least having a chance to have the ability to support and protect yourself and your family? And perhaps having the presence of mind to remember where you've come from, both good and bad? And maybe wanting a simpler, slower lifestyle?

I like Styx and don't disagree with that outlook but he fetishizes the "white-trash" thing a bit. Some of it is sensible, some of it is more of an aesthetic fixation than a philosophy. He tends to look down on anything that reeks of cash because he sees it as artificial/inauthentic.

Social media is his job, lol. If he wants to really be away from social media he needs to find another line of work. From what he's said he actually came from a much poorer background so where he's at is a step up so he clearly wants something better out of life than what he had initially.

I think my point went wide over your head. Please allow me to try again, I think I can offer a better summation.

Styx's relationship with social media is a hell of a lot healthier than the vast majority of other people, whether they do what he does or whether they work a real job. It isn't that he is using social media, it is that he has organized his life in such a fashion that he can remain mostly insulated from and excesses of a profession within social media. While other people are getting bogged down in drama, making poor business choices, and developing crippling social/mental scars, Styx seems to have built a diversified business that allows him to live the life he wants and remain true to what he believes in. I don't see the same from most social media entrepreneurs or regular working people for that matter, hence the allusions to fakeness and living a sham of a life in order to get ahead. And speaking of his relationship with money, his work/life decisions have allowed Tarl to remain sensible and grounded. Because money does lead to a lack of authenticity and a rotten moral core. Money being the root of all evil is a timeless expression. Our species figured out the pitfalls of such pursuits long ago.

And equally-timeless is our species' ability to ignore hard-earned lessons. It is also worth noting that none of this means that Tarl is correct, he is certainly wrong about stuff. But being wrong or hitting a road block doesn't seem to cause the same catastrophic devastation to his life like it does for the rest of our fragile society.

His weakest aspect seems to be with romantic endeavors. There is a lot of fragility there and you often see Styx at his worst when he is faced against his failures/troubles with love.

Also living outside of densely-populated areas is just smart living.
