I can relate. Quinton situation might hit to close to home because he always (at the start at least) strucked me as just an average dude making videos he probably didnt expect to be viewed by people outside of his circle of friends. Now he brags about how he is viewed by people on his town as a messiah-esque speaker, has clout with bigger names and doesnt give a fuck about the opinion of anyone who doesnt cuddle his ego.

I have never considered myself a fan of his but that didnt stopped me for watching him willingly well entered his woke phase. He has an extensive list of internet exceptionalism but I think must people were willing to let it slide for that ''relativility''.

I think the real turning point was Vidcon. After his vidcon video that is when i think his politics became more front and center in his videos.
