They'll get doxed and nothing will probably happen. Let an actual lawyer who is familiar with NC Bar rules handle it. When asking for authorities to do something you always need to be as accurate, specific, and well-supported as possible; they're busy people and are unlikely to dig through a pile of bullshit to see if there's actually anything there if the initial allegation doesn't hold up. Would you want to subject yourself to reading through the tweets of a complete moron who tweets hundreds of times per day just to see if he's been a bad boy?

Unless he did something to you its not an option. His behavior will show people how stupid he is the bar isnt going to do anything for him being a douchebag online. They dont do anything to nick about being a douche on line either.

Bar complaints are for clients and former clients. It's a consumer protection service. You alert the bar if your lawyer was stealing from you, sexing you up, had a material conflict that was unreported or else provided crazy incompetent legal representation. That's about it. In legal ethics class 1L, that's all you discuss.

Despite the talk of it's being a respected profession and high levels of ethics, outside client representation you can be a complete clown and hold bizarre ass views. Otherwise every lawyer in the media would be disbarred. Which is probably for the best anyway, I'm not sure I would want bureaucrat gang going over my life's merits.

Anyway leave the bar complaints to the Ron soyes of the world. It's not a good move and makes us look as incompetent and childish as them. Guy doesn't even have real clients anyway, hes just a third tier toliet grad with a podcast and high end CPAP machine.

They'd be wasting their time and would be laughed at. Nick is almost certainly not going to sue this loser, either, hence his smug impunity. It just shows his general unreliability, though, and why nobody should take anything he says seriously when he continually makes reckless, nonsensical allegations like that.

The stupidity of people trying to snitch to mommy that a lawyer is a douchebag always amazes me. You stupid motherfuckers, lawyers are professional douchebags. It's what they do. Unless you hired one and they were very bad at being a douchebag to the other side, or they stole your money, or they committed actual crimes, the bar doesn't care. And it usually doesn't even care about the last.

I get trying to start a 501c3 and being overly optimistic about it succeeding. I get having it fail. I get learning from the experience. Not sure I get having it on your linked in bio as if it were still active and you were actually accomplishing the things you mention in its description. (Oh, who am I kidding! I totally get that someone so addicted to feeling good about themselves that they tweet 400 times in a day for that heady dopamine rush would put misleading information in his life story).

Also interesting that he goes the extra step of adding that little TM after NC SPICE on his profile. Now, I may not understand searching for trademarks, so maybe someone out there can do a better job. I didn't find anything for NC SPICE on the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Is Doucette being less than accurate in representing the fact that he actually obtained a trademark for NC SPICE?
