To be fair, they're correct that late kickstarters are common and aren't indicative of an abandoned project.

However, a project that hasn't shown a single point of progress in 2+ years, even through the most basic communication while the project's entire staff (of one person) picks up 3 more jobs that aren't related to the project in any single, tangible way is indicative of a dead project.

As far as I can tell from briefly looking at some articles they managed to fix it by just having a phone call directly with each other and agreeing to work together due to them all having a love for beekeeping. Everyone gets to do what they want and get to work together on projects related to star control.
