Man I gotta say this is prime begging for our boy dark, it’s like something has been unhinged in him and he just doesn’t have an off switch. He got a thousand dolla tip and payed by twitch on the same day and he’s still asking for more. In the past he’d hardcore beg and at least give the piggy’s a few days where he dialed it back, but it’s like he just doesn’t give a fuck anymore lol

He used to start pushing for tip donations like a day to a couple of days before he'd get his Twitch payment, just to "tie some loose ends". Though, over the past 2 months or so, the amount of time between his Twitch payment and him putting emphasis on direct cash contributions has decreased severely. From roughly 2 months ago to today, begging for cash basically went like this:
  • a day before getting paid
  • a couple of days before getting paid
  • one week before getting paid
  • two weeks before/after getting paid
  • one week after getting paid
  • one day after getting paid (May 16th, check the corresponding pre-stream)
  • literally the same day of getting paid (today, June 15th)
It might be a temporary thing or something that goes back and forth depending on how much money paypigs throw at him during certain periods, but you never know with DSP: maybe the direct donations are treating him so well that he might at some point make it his primary/preferred type of "support" by default.

But yeah, 'unhinged' is a good description of what has been going on for the past 2 months regarding the shameless begging.

Only DSP could make me hate a game that I really enjoy. This Division 2 stream is a disaster, he is going to have a salty night stream for sure tonight because nobody is going to donate during this shit.

So BadBunny is going quite hard against DSP right now on Twitch. If people want to mess with him and take him down a peg, now might be a really good chance.
i don't think badbunny is going to hit him harder than anyone else has, unless she Metoo's him nothing going to happen and even if she did do that i don't expect the roach to be affected

Phil will withstand every possible thing until he's in his sixties or higher and his health issues catch up with him. He's just that consistently resilient to every bit of drama that gets flinged to him

My theory is this started because he neglected Patreon. He used to get over $1,000 plus whatever tips to carry him to Twitch payday. As his Patreon decayed he started to need more money in the first half of the month. Once he started begging and saw results he does what he always does when he sees results, repeats it over and over until he runs it into the ground.

Wait so he said the guy who tipped him the thousand bucks wanted to remain anonymous, but used their twitch name in the tip? Did this dood just get caught in a huge ass lie to hide a thousand bucks?
Or they just used the same account (email address/PayPal account/whatever) from when they did the $100 tip. I don't have any experience using Streamlabs, but I assume it automatically adds up all the payments from one account to compile the leaderboard.

Yeah, it's one of those sporadic semi-smart things DSP tends to do; why actually do extra work for Patreon when people literally give you the money if you simply ask them for it directly?

But still, if he was legit street smart, he'd actually do both: put at least some effort into Patreon to attract supporters AND beg for tips at the same time. I mean, the effort-to-payout ratio for (his) Patreon at its prime was like 1 to 10 or some shit, if not lower. But yeah, looking at how people are throwing money at him on command, putting some effort into Patreon isn't something he's willing to do anymore, apparently, because that's not how Dave "Minimal Effort" Burnell rolls.

Nothing he could do.

"Even with all the money coming in from the Twitch payment, I've been so overdrawn for like multiple days that it's gonna end up being a big detriment to what normally I'd spend money on" is what he said about getting his almost $3000 from Twitch.

Re-read that quote and try to figure out what it could possibly mean.

It's pure fucking nonsense confusion speak for his wheelchair symbol fans who don't understand money and their disability checks are converted automagically into food and ramps and not being dead.

Oh I know exactly what he's saying. Let me unbullshit it for you.

"I've gotten a ton of money the last few days but I've got additional debts now that I hadn't accounted for. This is going to cut into my splurge money."

Wouldn't it be cheaper to pay his bills with one of his dozens of credit cards and then when he gets paid, pay the card company? Why does he have the bills set up to take from his checking account? Set up all the bills to go on the card. The credit card bill comes once a month. Pay the credit card bill. Instead of paying bills everyday, pay one bill once a month. Problem solved.

Right. I had a few times where I thought I had money and an unexpected bill came through and took it. First thing I did was find out what all my bills were and set them on close to the same day. Rent comes out on the first, smaller bills come out on the next paycheck. Whatever's left is my spending money. And if I have extra money I pay that shit off early on my rent check so I'm ahead.

I work 6 days a week and I'm able to handle my shit. Phil makes 6 figures, "works" at home, and is in a constant panic/scramble cause "da bills keep coming every day d00d" when his ass is two feet from his 3k computer and he's always on his cell phone.

I tried to watch some of his Division 2 stream because the weather is fucked today and I have nothing else to do.

Between the bottle crunching, burping, and snorting/clearing his throat every 20 seconds I don't understand how any can tolerate him.

As someone who went super autistic and decided to go through the “DSP Fan Twitch chat experience,” I’ll tell you my own experience which I believe represents 95% of chat members who are just low key trolls.

At first you go there simply to bait Phil. My first bait was in response to a typical begging segment where he was asking for contributions which prompted me to type the following (paraphrasing): “if you want me to donate, put some effort in what you’re doing and the content you’re producing.” From the dozen or so messages that we’re being typed at the time, Phil specifically picked mine and went on an unhinged rant about how hard he works, how disrespectful I am, how I have no idea what I’m talking about, and don’t forget the perfunctory “fuck you.”

I got a good chuckle out of it and realized how easy it was to bait Phil without donating. For the next few weeks, that’s all I did for a few minutes a day. Pop into chat; make a random comment that could possible bait him into a rant; move on to that another Twitch channel.

Eventually, a lot of chat members with crowns next to their names started to private message me. Basically wanted to laugh at Phil with me in private. Out of the dozen or so people who contacted me and almost all were subscribers, all of them confirmed to be in there to low key troll (recite detractor memes; poke fun at Phil; wait for the moments he rages). Slowly but surely, I started developing a type of relationship with some of these chat members and tuning into DSP’s chat with the intent to bait him stopped becoming my priority and now it was to shoot the shit with the other ‘spergs.

I eventually got banned, got a laugh out of it, and moved on. I’ve kept in touch with a few members (shout-out to Kozatof) but this was just a weird autistic experiment for me to see who genuinely likes Phil and turns out it’s a tiny minority.

Most people probably end up there to troll him and find a spot in the community and start ignoring Phil for the most part.

That’s why I think people are even there in the first place.

Safe to say he's probably making far more money now than ever before. He was probably a pauper at the height of his glory days in Youtube by comparison. It'll be interesting to see how long he can keep this up.

Quits the stream exactly on time... IN THE MIDDLE OF A MISSION... PLAYING WITH "FANS".

GJ dsp. Let your buddies down, you are good at it.

It's work, gotta clock out on time. Just like everyone else who works. Nobody wants to stay at their job after clock out time.

I wonder if Phil has been in normal employment long enough to learn and understand the concept of overtime pay.

This was the guy who got raided by a semi-popular streamer and ended up going from 400 viewers to 1100 viewers and started getting bits and subs and followers, but the raid happened 2 minutes before his 'clock out' time and so he went "Oh well, time to clock out, should have came earlier. Seeya." If anyone remembers that. That was where the infamous "There are more important things than money, real talk lol." screencap came from.

If anyone has the overnight chat logs we could see if the $1000 tipper was anonymous or if they said anything.

People in his chat are dumb, DSP found out about the streamlabs leaderboard and removed it. Why the fuck would cheer bait him into talking about the person directly.

I guess seeing how this guy's name is out there and DSP will bring something up during tonight's prestream; This kortdverg person, looks like he may have donated during the month of May as he tried to pull up the !tip command in DSP's chat. He donated 1,100 under that name and it might have been a recent name change; who knows honestly.

So yeah this guy seems like he started popping up more during the DSP's e3 coverage, he might be a regular now and he posted a few times today with nothing of importance to bring up.
