Oh he's baiting them for the impeachment hearings as hard as he can. There was a script that this entire "insurance policy' was supposed to adhere to, and it's gone violently off the rails at this point. He was supposed to be sitting in the mid-20's at best for his approval ratings, isolated and under siege in the White House, chugging one Diet Coke after the next while he fends off an endless stream of impeachment hearings based on the "evidence" that Flynn and Manafort and Cohen et. al. gave to Mueller when they "flipped."

But that didn't happen. Then the economy kicked into high gear. Then his approval ratings started going up. Then the public got increasing fed up with the Russian story to where you'll notice that the media doesn't even talk about it anymore, they go straight for "obstruction" now. An impeachment hearing would be a big, fat nail in the coffin for the modern Left, and Nancy Pelosi may have just enough brain cells left that aren't addled with Alzheimer's to see that coming, but she let the lunatics run the asylum for too long, and now they're in control.

The Horowitz report and the FISA declassifications aren't far away at all, now, and Michael Flynn just recently dumped his old legal team and pulled in Sidney Powell, an attorney who not only specializes in DOJ/FBI corruption, she quite literally wrote the book on it.
