The comments here are pretty enjoyable to read.

Didn't take very long to find a good one. The 2nd thing I clicked on was a white man telling a womyxn to shut the fuck up because she's a centrist. We get the rope, too.

Ah, a perfect description of conservatives. You remember how you were all about the RED WAVE in 2018? Come talk to me again in 2020.

The red wave was in 2016 when Republicans took both sides of the house, the executive, and the governorships. The blue wave was supposed to be in 2018 when they were expecting on taking 25+ seats in congress and retaking the senate majority. They ended up with a cunt hair more than majority in congress and ended up losing seats in the senate. They still celebrated, regardless of how abysmally incorrect their predictions were. Speaking of, what has congress done since then?

I think you're mixing that up with the democrats, hon. It's not like they were screeching about the blue wave for months before the elections when everyone else was pretty certain it was going to be a big purple nothingburger.

I think "purple nothing" won the pre-election site poll..... most people correctly called it as it played out, senate stays Repbulican, house is a toss-up +/- a half-dozen or so to the "in charge" party

Be more creative about farming negative ratings or kill yourself, I don't care which.

Like I give a shit about internet points.

rewriting history again, eh.

Nobody on the Dem side thought the senate was up for grabs. It won't be in 2020 either.

2018 did have post-Watergate levels of turnout though.

Nah, there are a bunch of union members in the rust belt who would crawl over broken glass to pull the lever for Biden. Most of them voted Trump.

Clinton's campaign was horribly run. After Sanders massacred her in MI during the primary, her campaign team just shrugged their shoulders. They didn't bother to look in to why blue-collar men absolutely did not want to vote for Clinton.

Biden doesn't have the same weaknesses that Clinton had. That's why the DNC is pushing him so hard.
On a somewhat related note: I genuinely admire the cleverness of the "Bernie would have stomped Trump" argument because it's actually pretty well-designed. It pits Trump up against a well-liked (At the time) candidate who had a lot of Populist fuel in his tanks, and lays out the argument that because Trump was a no one who could have been beaten by essentially anyone who wasn't Hillary, he's doomed against any other well-known candidate.

It's clever in that it makes you completely forget about the fact that Trump beat more than a dozen candidates in the running for the Republican nomination, and he beat them so badly that it's difficult to remember who he was even running against in those debates, and that he even had competition in the first place. All but every last one of them was an "old school" contender, and had household names. They had the recognition, the experience, and the support of their communities, and Donald Trump utterly pummeled them into the floorboards.

It's naive to believe that Donald Trump won purely because the DNC shoved Hillary to the top of the stack. His entire campaign was custom-built to thrash her where she was weakest and ignore the places that his campaign knew that it couldn't win. He would have done the same thing to Bernie Sanders, and he's going to do the same thing to whatever poor bastard the DNC finally decides is going to get the least mangled when they're put up on stage with him.

A theme that I'm saying is that Democrats are using minorities for voters and spokespeople, but I see the likes of Candace Owens and Kevin Martin puppet as many talking points to the Trump GOP as minorities.
Minority / female / gay conservatives, unlike their liberal counterparts, aren't saying vote GOP because we're oppressed. It's more like:
- Don't vote Dem just because you're...
- The Dems say they have your best interest. But have you ever considered...
- Don't believe them when they say Republicans hate you simply because...

In other words, 'You ain't gotta come with us, but you certainly shouldn't go with them.'

A better option would be to infiltrate each party so that the "gay, minority, female, etc." card won't fly anymore. Plenty of opportunity to get young, new blood in, but not be a shill of either party or candidate.
