That's my read on it too. Once he got into discovery he probably knew it was a lost cause, but what the hey! he can get a few more billable hours and hope for a hail mary of Vic deciding to not take it any further as it's just pissing money up the wall. Love the barefaced lies they tell on twitter, they sound more like they're trying to convince themselves. If this confidentiality agreement does get put into place they're going to claim it was Vic's idea and that because of it all the evidence they have will never be seen by the public, then once they get reamed in court they'll blame the system for failing the 100 victims. Shane will naturally keep claiming he has huge things to share but he can't because of the agreement too.

I really hope Vic has changed his mind on the agreement, if only to have on public record that his accusers are lying sacks of waste and to leave 0 doubt of that fact.
