She strikes me as the type of person who's under the mistaken impression that she's
fantastic at playing poker, and doesn't understand why she always loses.
She also strikes me as someone who was cast in the lead role once, and thought herself quite the thespian ever since. It's like the Theater Kid's version of the High School QB who couldn't make the cut in college and is always talking about the time he lead his team to the National Championship.
What this team of cockroaches is doing is becoming more and more obvious:
1) They personally have no evidence of anything at all. Only their beliefs and bogus stories ( strengthened every day by the echo chamber).
2) They are convinced that "one day, somewhere, Vic assaulted someone".
So from the beginning, they've been bluffing. By trying to make Vic believe that they had evidence somewhere.
That's why they're talking about a secret investigation. That's why they claim to be happy to go to court, that's why they refused the confidentiality agreement proposed by Vic (for the depositions).
And from the beginning, because of their unfounded belief, they think Vic will chicken out if they finally convince him that they have "evidence".
A little like parents could say to their child "We KNOW that you ate your sister's chocolate... Now admit it.... (so we can be sure and punish you without having a guilty conscience)".
They've been desperate hoping, the more people that would pop up and talk about their bad experiences with Vic (that most of them heard from a friend of a friend of a friend, or saw something happening with a stranger and they decided to feel uncomfortable on that person's behalf), that the laws of probability meant that at
least one of them would have
some kind of evidence of wrong doing.
And they're partially right. If someone had been misbehaving, even only on occasion, for 15+ years in the Con circuit, then somebody would have proof.
If they'd been misbehaving.
It's like Nick's pointed out: we haven't even had
any woman come forward to say "Hey, I slept with Vic." As in, as far as I've seen, there hasn't even been some ISWV exceptional who got the thought in her head that the best way to defend Vic and his honor would be to come out and say that he was an amazing and thoughtful lover that checked her ID before they fucked and kissed her on the cheek before he sent her on his way. It's odd. This is usually the kind of situation that brings out groupies and con bunnies to share (or make up) lurid details. But even in the KV stories, he stops when he was asked to.
I'm amazed by the fact that this thing is still going strong after all this time. We were told this would slow down a while ago, yet there's still shit happening every week.
Can't wait for Ty's response to their demand for confidentiality. I just can't believe that THAT is a proper/valid response for holding back discovery.
This is the most ridiculous court case I've ever followed. Not the filings that are happening- although those are up there-, but the fact that there's been absolutely no breaks on this fucking train. I don't know how they keep managing to constantly top their own stupidity. Is it the amount of people involved? It has to be. Every time Soye takes a break, there's Shane to pick up the slack. And when he gets slapped down, Marchi does something embarrassing. And when she tries to go into hiding, the CosThots show up, and then ANN people, and then Armzgurl, and then and then and then. It's just a never ending, circling spiral of malicious, insipid bitterness.

Oh, the irony...
Listening and believing is bad, Mm'kay?
