What's even the point of shilling for FMA:B? It's a little old but it not remotely obscure, is was on adult swim.

I'm not about to sit through that video but is he trying to act like no one has heard of FMA before? Hell, I still see people with FMA merchandise now a days. That cross logo is super common.

If you're gonna be a hipster at least commit. Hipster reviewers on YouTube are only tolerable because they sometimes spotlight obscure gems.

Yeah it doesn't have so much sense, it's still a popular series and gets mentioned alot in things like "first anime reccomendations lists" but it's always a good time to remind the newfags to subscribe to crunchyroll.
maybe some people will start to approach anime thanks to the Vic case going on now, so crunchyroll thinks it's a good idea to advertise that series.

Isn't that Geoff's usual deal, copy video formats from other people since he's to lazy to do what made him popular in the first place. Although I know from a recent video from him, SEW did throw some shade at Geoff so it could be a passive aggressive response but I don't really know since call me autistic if you want but the few people who make content I vaguely like, I make it a point to avoid them on any form of social media and hope whatever dumb shit they say doesn't start seeping into their videos

I thought it was fairly transparent that him jumping on the adpocalypse 3 translated to needing to shill harder to offset possible demonitization, because he too sometimes does cringy things that advertisers likely wouldn't appreciate, resulting in harder shilling.

I've actually heard a few rumors that Geoff's "What's in an OP" series, his most successful series, involves him ripping off Japanese video creators on their native video platforms and just stealing their own analysis.

It would be pretty funny if this is true, because about a year ago Geoff was assmad about some Brazilian woman word-for-word copying some of his videos and milking for BRs.
Although I wouldn't be surprised, because Digi also says that Geoff tends to take things that other people say and make it out to be 'public opinion' when it's only a single other person putting it out in video format. This was in the "no I actually hate you" nuclear rant video iirc.
