Can someone explain to me why people hate this guy? What did he do to make so many people wish he were dead other than have extremely public manic breakdowns?

extremely vapid, low-quality reaction videos and his stream full of dicksuckers, basically every streamer that peaks above 4k viewers
got extremely popular around 2014 around smash season, leave the rest to your imagination
needless to say fame apparently didn't treat him well which probably led to these spergouts of late

A few months ago I read someone his tweets and I immediately thought he was manic posting. I believe the most common time period where schizophrenia emerges is in the early 20's. It just seems weird to me that fans would hate on a dude for not seeking help when most people with sudden onset mental illness resist treatment. Also seems weird to me how many people are taking his rants seriously enough to get offended by it. Does this guy have no friends IRL?

If I recall correctly, he had a girlfriend, but I don't know much about Etika in the first place to give a concrete statement, let alone his personal life.

It was probably a mix of him blocking / pushing away everyone who weren't agreeing with his manic rambles, and the part of his fans who encouraged it and hopped onto the train. Especially when he started calling himself God and some of the replies had people ready to worship him, both joking and not.

Sorry for being late but could someone be so kind to explain the joke about DSP outlasting other YouTubers, streamers, etc.? I'm less familiar with him at this point than Etika; is DSP really reckless?
