I'm just laughing because that's an embarrassment of a deposition. If I were going to depose Vic, I totally would ask about an irrelevant youtube video series years ago for full proof he's a rapist while screaming my head off. But seriously, I agree with doing the nice guy approach on Vic. But if you've gotta start somewhere, the io9 interview and stuff regarding his ex-fiance. That io9 article is Vic's own words which you could use against him. Still gets me they spent 1/3rd of their time on irrelevant info Nick says all the time.

It's coming from a biased source, but wasting 1/3rd of your time on ST;C and GFM seems like a really dumb thing to do. Even if you wanted to link ST;C to public figure or Sprecht? (ex-fiance that i think was in the show) it feels like you could have done that without wasting deposition. MoRonica REALLY mad about that GFM tho.

The thing is that Monica and Ron shouldn't be directing legal strategy. They should be following the advice of their counsel. What they're mad about should be largely irrelevant from a tactical viewpoint.

i agree, that's what's so puzzling. either casey is actually special needs, buys the "cause", and he himself is being swindled by moronica, or they've actually strongarmed him into playing a role.

Apparently it was only 1.5 hours of questions on the GFM so I guess they could have spent a good 3-4 hours on something more relevant.

I'm only catching up with the stream now, but they tried to pin an Italian guy raised by a single mother and still very close to her as a woman hater? Weird decision. Not surprising Vic did well, he's charismatic and good with words.

Also his Star Trek series is a registered non-profit organization and CBS was on friendly terms with them iirc, so good luck finding dirt there. It would be silly to tag Specht in when she told i09 she had thought her relationship with Vic was loving and monogamous.
