The r/The_Donald mod that banned Null did something I don't like, in a sense, his banning of null was his form of expression. I don't give a shit about that random mod though. As they see it, there is no legitimate way to enact legislation they disagree with. Thus, nearly all methods used to oppose this legislation (gerrymandering, voter suppression, requiring infeasible supermajorities, etc.) are entirely justified. (It's the same tactic used by dictators like Pinochet, put up as many barriers as possible to exploit institutional safeguards.) In this case, they believe corporate lies about climate change because any attempt to salvage whatever we can of our ecology will affect the rich's bottom line in some way.

It's particularly ironic given that all but the very rich are going to see a large drop in quality of life, assuming we do nothing to drastically curb carbon emissions. They're the ones who stand to suffer by supporting politicians who seek to block the majority that was democratically elected.
